The Erotic Terrorist Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 THERE is the Romo'd some of us expected.
BobbyWhioux Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 RIC FLAIR IS CLIMBING THE TURNBUCK--nevermind. 2
TimLivingston Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 What was it that Denny Green said that one time? ROMO~!
_MJ_ Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 5 TDS... but the inevitable Tony Romo pick will not be denied
RIPPA Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Poor guy - throws for 500 yards and no one will remember Not that I am necessarily sad he did
Niners Fan in CT Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 So what? His defense hasn't helped him one bit. I'm tired of this "well he wasn't PERFECT" talking point... The guy just threw over 500 yards and gave his team 48 points. He's not playing corner.

Niners Fan in CT Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 25 teams would rather have Romo than the guy who starts for them.

The guy just threw over 500 yards and gave his team 48 points. He's not playing corner. Do you honestly think if this game was 21-21 the result would have been any different? We've tried that too.

The guy just threw over 500 yards and gave his team 48 points. He's not playing corner. Do you honestly think if this game was 21-21 the result would have been any different? What? Him throwing a costly pick? Sure, he's going to do that... but why are the games always close? Because for the last five years at least the defense has sucked. They've had name players who don't perform (outside of Ware and a couple others).
Death From Above Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 And yes the Cowboys defense is dreadful but that's not news. Denver's D hasn't looked this bad in a while though.
hammerva Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I will say this is making me extremely excited for the Skins/Cowboys game next week. I need a shower for saying that
FireThunder Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Denver is going to send Prater out there and then get out of town as fast as they can. What a wild game.
_MJ_ Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 25 teams would rather have Romo than the guy who starts for them. Yeah, but tonight he's facing one of the 5 who do not. Tough night to have your best game.
dogwelder Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Redskins still have a chance at... Oh, who am I kidding?
glfpunk Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Jesus H there are some dumb fucking football fans out there.
epwar Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Hopefully this performance will keep the Romo haters away for a week. there's still time for him to throw some horrific game ending interception MY GOD this post!
Death From Above Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Redskins still have a chance at... Oh, who am I kidding? PREDICTION: Cowboys 33 first half points, Redskins 31 second half points. Romo throws a pick in the last 3 minutes (which won't be his fault of course, just like the other 4 times we see this every season), then RG III's knee explodes on the drive to win when he trips over the giant star at center field. ESPN declares it game of the century and discusses nothing else for two months. Should be excellent.
Reggie20x6 Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Before the drive started I told my wife that I was almost 100% positive that Romo was going to throw a pick. Luckily, she doesn't know football - so I looked like some sort of genius predicting the most obvious outcome.
RIPPA Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I wonder how many teams have scored 48 points and lost
Death From Above Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I doubt that list could have more than 5 options on it. Both defenses deserve a great amount of scorn, as entertaining as it was.
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Romo is the epitome of the 50/50/90 rule. If you have 50/50 odds of him throwing an INT at the worst possible time, he'll do so 90% of the time. It's not even because he's bad. It's just who he is and what he does. At this point, why hold it against him? You are what we say you are A Cowboy star And like a doe is a deer Your INT is here
