Kevin Wilson
So hey maybe benching a pro bowl quarterback for a rookie isn't a great idea in the midst of a playoff race. 1
nofuture
Peterman has more INTs in one half of football than Tyrod has had all season.

dogwelder
Modern era record for a game is 7 INTs, done in 1986 by Steve DeBerg for Tampa and 2001 by Ty Detmer for Detroit. Most is 8 by Jim Hardy in 1950 for the Chicago Cardinals.
DouglasC
At least after this game, we might find out if it is possible for someone to have a negative QB rating.
Kevin Wilson
I wonder if he gets a mercy yanking. Not because the Bills can win but just so he doesn't have a career-ending stat line.
Ryan
Quote Young: Bills didn't want QB holding them back Steve Young says the Bills believe they're a playoff team and didn't want poor quarterback play from Tyrod Taylor holding them back. 3 days ago. 1

Nope, not possible. From Wiki talking about the four separate formulae to determine QB rating: Quote If the result of any calculation is greater than 2.375, it is set to 2.375. If the result is a negative number, it is set to zero.

Serious Darius Bagfelt
I thought Bills fans here were cautiously optimistic because he completed a couple passes against 4th stringers in preseason
Kevin Wilson
Glad they put Tyrod back in just to get the kid off the hook. It doesn't mean he'll never be good, but he isn't ready yet, it would take a really special QB to be successful with the Bills' offensive line. Serious Darius Bagfelt
Tyrod doesn't throw interceptions but likes standing around getting sacked and fumbling. Pick 6 the hard way
hammerva
if Peterman is the starting QB next week for the Bills after that performance then that might be the best sports example of white privilege possible

From a certain point of view there was some logic there. The defense had crumbled since starting great, and thought the rookie might be able to put up some points. Not saying I agree but there it is. Besides, who knows if it was Mcdermott;'s idea or where some one up in the org fell in love with Peterman wanted to give him a shot.
Brian Fowler
I'd almost be willing to bet it came from above. McDermott was adamant about not going to Peterman days before the announcement.
Serious Darius Bagfelt
I have no doubt the Peterman decision came from above. The way the Bills have dumped guys off this roster. Tyrod is not the QB of the future. So shitcan the hyperbole about firing the coach over this. Tyrod Taylor is a guy good enough to keep you from drafting in the top 10 but not get you anywhere close to success

J.T.
Giants won and the Redskins blew one out of their collective assholes.. My boo made us a special dinner of Bourbon Salmon and roasted potatoes. If the Giants had fucked around and lost that game, I'd probably have been banished to the garage and been forced to make a meal out of mixed nuts, dead crickets, and leftover Halloween candy.
