The Unholy Dragon
They didn't say 'No more flashbacks period.' They said flashbacks and flash forwards will be used as a regular device but in ways that compliment the content of the episode rather than having an ongoing narrative. So more like the pregnancy flashback in S2 and whatnot.
evilwaldo
Just sayin, it would behoove DC and/or Marvel to have Bolt do a cameo on Flash or in the Xmen movies with Quicksilver.
Cliff Hanger
Supergirl hits Netflix on 9/10, no mention of Flash/Arrow/Legends so I guess they will all follow the stupid pattern of landing on Netflix the same day the new season starts for one last time. Cliff Hanger
So now I'm burning through Supergirl (I'm partway in to ep 7). It's weird how giving a character a particular name creates significant expectations with a portion of the audience, while being utterly meaningless to the majority. I was waiting for Max Lord's shoe to drop the instant they called him by name. If I hadn't had Hank Henshaw's true nature spoiled for me, I'd still be on hair trigger for him. I don't know what it's like to watch these shows without that baggage. It's like being disappointed that none of the Wreckers died in the Transformers movies. The Unholy Dragon
It would be weirder if the CW shows hadn't already established pretty firmly that things can go different ways. Even a lot of the characters who are ostensibly the same character by the end still have vast differences. Though I still expected a heel turn from 'Winn' Winslow Schott until it became clear that wasn't happening. Honestly more than anything I'm thrown by hunky beefcake Jimmy Olsen.
Raziel
Well, I was all on Henshaw being Eradicator until the reveal. Winn they subverted by making Toyman his dad instead of him. Pretty sure Wonder Woman isn't showing up to kill Lord though. Interesting to see how they're going to keep the Supergirl Earth seperate from the CW-Earth on the same network where the other shows share. John Austin
From my understanding the Flashpoint event is going to be the catalyst to bring Supergirl into the CW-verse
Eivion
That was more a theory than anything else. they have already said Flashpoint would be short. It seems like whatever crossover is planned won't be anything to huge though Kara should show up on each show probably just trying to return to her Earth I imagine. The Man Known as Dan
So, having just binge watched the ever loving heck out of Supergirl, I'm actually really surprised how much I enjoyed the 1st season. And holy shit, whoever cast Melissa Benoist deserves so much money. She's fucking perfect. I'm sure like 50% of my enjoyment of the show is her. Brian Fowler
That show was so perfect. It reflected everything that S-shield stands for so well. I love it so much.

The Unholy Dragon
Per the Flash twitter account, we have the villain for the four way CW crossover: The Dominators
tigertooth
I want to ask if anybody is watching Gotham anymore, but I see this is the 2015-2016 season thread. With the CW shows about to start, it might be time to start a 2016-2017 thread. But anyway: has everybody given up on Gotham? I keep hoping that it's going to be good, and it keeps not being good. And yet the RT scores are still pretty high.
Justin877
Since I was without CW for most of the original run, I am embarking on the Smallville ride from Season 1 -10 on Hulu.

steve
I stuck with that hell to the end. Don't be like me. You'll want to keep going, see it through. But don't.
The Unholy Dragon
The best approach to Smallville is to skip the whole thing and read the sequel comic because it's a Superman comic good enough to justify ten years of Clark being a whiny dick in a red hoodie.

Eivion
Flashpoint was shockingly short. I was expecting at least 2-3 episodes.
Raziel
Well Flashpoint was dissapointing. Lack of Barry sitting on top of Queen Manor doused in chemicals and a lightning rod = no buys.
