Ryback Hates Bullies Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 For fuck sake. Agreed. It's one thing if you're dressed up like some weird shaman or crazy old Aikido guy, but that hamandegger? 3
Lamp, broken circa 1988 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I am loathe to invoke Jim Cornette to make a point here, but there was some shoot interview he did where he dropped a quote from some anonymous wrestler: "I liked the business a lot more when the marks were in the seats." I come closer to understanding exactly what he meant every year. 12
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Force choke slam is bad, but do these guys even work out anymore? 5
JetBlack83 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I'm totally ok with goofyness, as long as there's some kind of precedent. Invisible choke slam only works for me if he's doing some kind of Green Lantern gimmick and they add a glowing green hand in post.
JRV Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Force choke slam is bad, but do these guys even work out anymore? I saw a spot live a couple months back where two dudes stomped on each other's feet, then both stomped on the ref's feet when he interfered. The crowd ate it up and lost their shit, but PRO WRESTLING WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. They shoulda done a PWFG battling heel hooks spot, fuck the fact it was mostly kids in the audience. 1
PuroresuFan Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Am I correct that she touches Reigns and then proceeds to sniff her hand?
rovert Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I assume no one knows Beyond Wrestling here correct?
Ryback Hates Bullies Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Force choke slam is bad, but do these guys even work out anymore? I do wonder this sometimes. I know genetics plays a part, but c'mon dudes.
ebbie Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 For fuck sake. To defend it a little, I was expecting them to high five each other and do backflips as a sign of their indy wrestlerism. 2
drshowtime Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Not everything needs to be defended. I'll never understand complaining about two people you dont know or give a shit about 1
Pete Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Am I correct that she touches Reigns and then proceeds to sniff her hand? And then passes it to her friend if I'm not mistaken.
Matt D Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Not everything needs to be defended. I'll never understand complaining about two people you dont know or give a shit about Our days are very, very boring. 1
Pete Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Some folks' days will get more boring than others if they don't dial it down a bit. Thankee. 1
Rev Ray Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Am I correct that she touches Reigns and then proceeds to sniff her hand? And then passes it to her friend if I'm not mistaken. Now men no longer have cornered the market on creepy wrestling fans. These are fine times we live in. In your face space coyote!
kafkonia Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I showed that force-choke-slam to my girlfriend and she and I both dug it. Takes all kinds, I guess.
Illinois Smith Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I laughed but if you want to do Force Slams you better invest in some silly gear. 1
Lazlo Woodbine Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 This one almost looks like she's going for the full Suarez.
cool arrow Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I showed that force-choke-slam to my girlfriend and she and I both dug it. Takes all kinds, I guess. It's only slightly more absurd than the stuff Papa Shango did, and that was supposed to be serious.
