I mean the guy stole a base in the 7th, teams come back from being 5 down on a frequent enough basis that is no reason to just stop trying to score. Silly Red Sox. A fly ball deflected off Alfonso Soriano's glove and over the fence for a home run; McCarver blamed it on Soriano's lack of experience playing at Busch Stadium (never mind his six or so years coming to St. Louis with the Cubs).
