The Man Known as Dan
For whatever it's worth, I'm having 0 problems watching anything tonight. Starcade 83 finished, fun as hell to watch, moving on to Starcade 84 now!
Johnny Sorrow
Mania 1 fucking rules. It's because I was watching live on closed circuit in Philly in a packed Spectrum and I had so much fun and the memories of the build, the night before watching Hogan and T on SNL, my mom marking out for Bruno, and just the whole deal. But I still say it was a great show. Mania 2 sucked a giant dick outside of a couple of matches, but that's another story.
Brian Fowler
Something VOD started playing on my PS3!!!!!!
Brian Fowler
That was a glorious one minute and eighteen seconds before it froze.
Big Z
The internet on demand worked long enough to see Pillman-Liger from SuperBrawl II. Damn do I love the shit out of that match, and it still holds up today as an all-time great match.
Brian Fowler
Two WCW ppvs lasted 1:18 and :59, but I'm a few minutes into the first rumble, it has the dots and so far so good.
goodhelmet
I haven't been able to get anything in VOD to load for the last two hours. It's odd that it worked fairly well yesterday and not now. I am having the exact same problems.
offspring515
My kindle let me watch about 15 mins of a house show from oct. 91. Texas tornado vs. BIG BULLY BUSICK! I loved Busick. I was pissed when he left. Then about 3 minutes into Bulldog vs. IRS everything froze up and wouldn't reload. At this point I feel like I've already got my 60 bucks worth. BIG BULLY BUSICK YOU GUYS!
Brian Fowler
This Rude/Steamboat match is pretty great so far. I mean, clearly, they had way better matches a few years later, but this is good.
Brian Fowler
I think Vince has told then to prioritize WWF shows over WCW. Because Rumble is now over 12 minutes and still perfect.
Hooks
Tried several different PPVs, still getting error messages after a minute at the most. So now I'm watching the countdown of the greatest catchphrases just to feel like I'm getting something out of the network.
Brian Fowler
16 minutes and it froze. Best so far!
cubbymark
Tried watching a 1994 Hardcore TV VOD with Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton. Stream froze during a Jason promo. So Halloween Havoc 1997 it is until I go to bed. Nagata/Ultimo Dragon is pretty good thus far.
cubbymark
I didn't realize Chris Jericho came out to "Break The Walls Down" in 1997 WCW. Thanks, editing crew. And as Jericho/Gedo starts, VOD freezes again. Edit: skipped a few minutes back by clicking and then forward, VOD working again.
Brian Fowler
WrestleMania 29 is becoming my first real success. Still, worlds better than day one.
Kevin Wilson
For those asking, it looks like they bleeped some of the language on the ECW PPVs (I can't imagine ECW censored it themselves at the time but I don't have an original to compare to) but they didn't try to mute the crowd's inappropriate chants. Also frontal nudity is blurred which is funny as that is a very American thing to do (show excessive violence, censor breasts) but I guess understandable. So this network doesn't offer uncensored content as advertised? And people were making a big deal about WWE showing their COMPLETE PPV library, but get a complete pass on showing edited content? I think right now people have more important concerns than not being able to see Kat's boobs.
Justin877
It appears the way to make the entire VOD library appear on the Roku is to go to the WWE Network webpage, click on My Account in the upper right, and then turn on the parental controls, then turn them right back off. My apologies if this has already been covered. Thanks for the heads up! That worked for "unlocking" the ECW content. Since I woke up from a dead sleep with a headache, figured I would give the Network a try . Knocking on wood, I am watching Barely Legal '
cubbymark
VOD really struggling during the ending of Guerrero/Mysterio from Halloween Havoc 1997. Once this match is over, bedtime for sure.
TheVileOne
Quick question, do they give you the full show for Super Brawl II?
Justin877
And 2 minutes in with The Dudley's I get a "general socket era" . Interesting....
Phantom Lord
I tried watching it earlier. Still couldn't log onto it from the Xbox. I read that's a problem on Microsoft's end so I hope they fix that. Live streaming on my computer and laptop is choppy but the sound is good so that's a plus. Was able to watch a little of Summerslam 04 last night with no lag. No parental warnings for that guy Orton ended up beating for the title. Kropotkin's Beard
Well, maybe the key is to watch things when America is in bed, fast asleep. So I put Wrestlemania X7 on. I'd forgotten catatonic Linda McMahon. Awful. Also, all that music that they have replaced and I still have to hear fucking Limp Bizkit open the show. COME ON GUYS. Josh Mann
Better today. Not perfect, but better. Has this really been only 48 hours?
Bustronaut
The PS3 search has revealed to me that Bastion Booger's finisher is called "Trip to the Batcave" Now I want to see if anything more random than that is in the suggested searches
Justin877
Baby steps with The Network, I watched about 1/3 of an NXT episode last night with buffering and about 5 restarts before I went to bed
