No idea for the world title, but for the Trios title, I bet they do something goofy like having the winner of Best Friends vs Death Triangle vs Dark Order next week for the interim one. That feels like 2022 AEW to me.

I bet that's what happens too, except rather than think it's goofy, I kind of think it's good. I mean, what else do you do? We *just* had a tournament final and a battle royal two days ago. I see where you're coming from, but I think something like that would be the quickest, simplest way back on the road.

Punk might get stripped because he's hurt. Or Punk might be suspended and no one has said anything to the media about it, we don't really know anything yet.

Well, yeah, but losing the fake title probably means losing out on real world TV time (although this is the elite so probably not).  Plus the general principle of not rewarding people who fuck up your money.

Great reset show. Good grapps. Show missed MJF. Gonna need to go back and see the main event commercial free, that one was definitely done dirty by the ads.

Respect Tony for taking decisive action and I fully support the direction it looks like this is headed in.

You can gut half of this roster and still be able to put on wildly good shows. This is the upside to the bloat. You can pull a classic episode with three MAJOR matches and a top-tier promo segment while the clucking masses think your shit's on fire.

About goddamn time there was a proper Griselda x AEW event. Flipside is these upstate crowds are weird.

Swerve Strickland's effortless switching between face and heel is prodigal. I don't disagree with some of the Segunda Caida-ist criticisms of his moveset but I think he's been the AEW MVP of the week.
