Burgundy LaRue Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 So weird to see ESPN do a special on concussion issue in the NFL on the day of the Super Bowl. Usually they are #1 in the feeding of the Goddell machine Listening to Junior Seau 2 months before his death talking about the problems in the NFL and head injuries knowing what ended up happening is hard to stomach I've tried to picture what Seau's HOF induction in August will be like. Tragic is all I can come up with.
hammerva Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Great piece on the 15th anniversary of the Rams vs Titans SB and the last play of the game with a where are they now with Kevin Dyson and Mike Jones.
Brian Fowler Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 So final prediction time: New England 27, Seattle 20
hammerva Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 By the way I hope there are more segments with Johnny Weir because holy crap that must have been a mind fuck for lots of insecure men on their 5th beer of the pregame
glfpunk Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Great piece on the 15th anniversary of the Rams vs Titans SB and the last play of the game with a where are they now with Kevin Dyson and Mike Jones. Except for Costas getting on his little soap box at the end.

SirFozzie Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I think the Pats have a good chance in this One (then again, I would, wouldn't I?) But the Seahawks excel at making teams grind it out and taking away the big play... and the Pats excel at grinding it out. 24-21, Pats.
Death From Above Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I think the Seahawks win but I'm not happy about it. Looking forward to halftime so I can read the bi-yearly misogynist comments about how a female performer is ruining the Superbowl or something.
Brian Fowler Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 A male ruined it last year... Although nobody has been as bad as the Black Eyed Peas that one year.
Niners Fan in CT Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 N'Sync, Nelly, Britney and Aerosmith was tough to sit through. Very tough to sit through.
twiztor Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 the Annual NES Super Tecmo Bowl prediction:Patriots 24, Seahawks 14.the Seahawks defense is strong early, but the Patriots ball control and clock manipulation wear out the Seattle D, leading to the Pats racking up points consistantly.the Seahawks threaten late in the game with a couple long throws, but ultimately fall short after a late interception.MVP goes to the NE QB, who has a couple key long runs peppered into the assault.
Burgundy LaRue Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 NE's QB with some long runs? Did they swap QBs with Seattle?
JustJay Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I'm thinking this game is a toss up and if Seattle wins it will be close. If they come out soft like against GB, it will get out of hand quickly. With that said, my prediction is, New England 33 Seattle 27.
johnnyboy Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 My 48-14 Seahawks win against the Broncos prediction via Madden last year was eerily accurate. I've got the Patriots 14-7 this year thanks to the wonders of Madden 15. Defensive war of attrition with the Seahawks losing two running backs during the game to injury. Shane Vereen MVP. During the presentation Brady lamps Roger with the Lombardi and says "deflate this!"* *May not have happened.
Kuetsar Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I'll double down on my Seahawks in a old fashioned NFC blowout prediction. Something in a 45-17 or so, with it no being that close. Followed by a weeks worth of stories about whether or not this deflated balls stuff "got in the Patriots head". Remember that good matches rarely lead to good games. . . .
piranesi Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Are these insufferable Pre-game Pre-commercials for the in-game commercials new? Do they spend the entire year brainstorming how to make this even more painful and that's what they came up with for the year?
piranesi Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Instant replay overturns a touchdown in the Kitten Bowl. GODDAMMIT THE HUMAN ELELMNET!!!!!
hammerva Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Yes people cross fitters are people too damn it. I guess that is what i am supposed to get out of Reebok commercial
Pete Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Cindy listening to Costas: "So we traded one douchebag for another..."
Brian Fowler Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Pete's finance is so much cooler than us.
Raziel Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Marshawn Lynch to get fined $25k for not holding his hand on his heart for the Anthem. 2
johnnyboy Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Currently at the so tense I want to puke stage Come on Sir Tom, you can do it.
dogwelder Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 So McDonalds is going to randomly give food away? I guess they really are desperate to get their customer base back up.
Brian Fowler Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Hm... First questionable call of the game
