Dolfan in NYC Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Huge week in college football: Notre Dame finally gets a shot at a "quality win" to go along with their "quality loss" vs #14 ASU this week. TCU/Kansas State looks fun, but will mean nothing because none of them will get by the SEC schools in the rankings. Utah gets a good shot at throwing everything into complete chaos if they beat Oregon. Ohio State & Michigan St play to see who gets to beat Nebraska in a month (and then bitch about why they got left out of the playoffs) and finally... An ex of mine went to UT-Martin. I hope Mississippi State beats them by 100. AP Sez: #1 Cinderella, it's 11:58... #2 Why do we always hire whiny twats as our head coach? #3 Leapfrog #4 Maybe if we put out enough PR stories, we can forget about what our coach did to Miami, LSU, and Sparty #5 Well, someone has to force Alabama out.
The Erotic Terrorist Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I presume most have seen it already but in case you haven't: I have no idea who the tremendous man with the mustache is but the breakdancing dude is a young GUS MALZAHN.
Dolfan in NYC Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Well, seems the NCAA really is just a paper tiger. (My "shocked" face goes here.) Emails uncovered in the state of Pennsylvania lawsuit against the NCAA basically admitted they have no true enforcement power and are hoping the embarrassment of the situation is enough to keep everyone in line.
Raziel Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Now I doubt this has legs, but... http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/outkick-the-coverage/website-alleges-jameis-winston-shaved-points-in-first-half-of-louisville-game-110614 We now have alleged Point Shaving to add to Winson 's growing list of issues.
mco543 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 How we long for the good old days of FSU football where the players merely stole clothes from Dillards.
Burgundy LaRue Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 What's amazing is that with Winston, you instantly say "Yep, that sounds plausible" even when it really doesn't.
Burgundy LaRue Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Oh, and a linebacker named Ukeme Eligwe was kicked off FSU's team. Just exactly does one have to do for that to happen? Run over Grandma? Pledge allegience to ISIS? This is FSU, anything goes for them.
evilwaldo Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Now I want them to win for the bigger embarrassment it will be in the eyes of the public.
Brian Fowler Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Oh, and a linebacker named Ukeme Eligwe was kicked off FSU's team. Just exactly does one have to do for that to happen? Run over Grandma? Pledge allegience to ISIS? This is FSU, anything goes for them. Not be as good as Winston? 2
Kuetsar Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 What's amazing is that with Winston, you instantly say "Yep, that sounds plausible" even when it really doesn't. If there's ANY truth to the allegations, I would think that would hurt him with the NFL more than the rape allegation. Who cares about whether you abuse women when there the is evil of gambling to worry about?(not my personal opinion of course). . . .
Death From Above Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 My favourite thing about the anti-gambling lobbies in the US is it's funded incredibly heavily by groups like the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission whose livelihood depends on gambling and have no actual moral objection to gambling at all. They just don't want you betting on online poker or football because come on who's picking horse racing over that.
Tabe Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Oh, and a linebacker named Ukeme Eligwe was kicked off FSU's team. Just exactly does one have to do for that to happen? Run over Grandma? Pledge allegience to ISIS? This is FSU, anything goes for them. Well, Randy Moss had to do time in jail and then violate probation by smoking pot to get kicked out of FSU. So...there's your neighborhood for Ukeme's transgression.
Hail Sabin Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Also at that time FSU was loaded at WR so Bowden let him move on to Marshall. This week's slate of games is loaded and will really set the foundation for which 4 teams will make the playoffs. How we long for the good old days of FSU football where the players merely stole clothes from Dillards. In the good old days of FSU 6 to 8 players got arrested and that was just in the summer every year.
Burgundy LaRue Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Oh, and a linebacker named Ukeme Eligwe was kicked off FSU's team. Just exactly does one have to do for that to happen? Run over Grandma? Pledge allegience to ISIS? This is FSU, anything goes for them. Not be as good as Winston? So Eligwe ain't SKRONG~, then? Well, damn.
Gonzo Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Wyoming had a drive in their game against Utah State that lasted 15 plays. And covered 33 yards. Might be a little hard to read. . .you can see a larger version here.
Randy Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Nice pick 6 by Hackenberg in the flat. 1st round draft pick.
just drew Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 The Alma Mater put one on NC State today. This offense is fun to watch when humming. Have visits from Climpsumb and a showdown with the hillbillies left this year...
Josh Mann Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Kevin Sumlin is a witch when it comes to quarterbacks.
Craig H Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 This ND game is the most perfect representation of my migraine today. Just an awful beating and moments where I think I'm getting better end with me in agony again.
ChesterCopperpot Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 And there's only a FG in it now with 6:37 left
Niners Fan in CT Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 So, Allen looking pretty darn good for A&M but Auburn has a ton of time to pull this off. ND is done. Arizona St. has been very impressive this year but I feel like ND would have been right in it if not for the mental mistakes.
Beech27 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 KU beats Iowa State 34-14. Pretty good chance Bowen gets the interim tag removed, even with just that one win. The team looks like it gives a shit, and being a former Lawrence High/KU player, the local support is there. Plus he'll be cheap, which never hurts.
ChesterCopperpot Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Wow Auburn with a massive mistake on the botched snap there
muhammedboehm Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 And I'm sorry but even if the QB had been in place that snap gets fumbled the center hit his own thigh/ass
