ArtVanderlay
While going through Foywonder's Youtube channel, I was reminded of softcore porn actress De'Ann Power, who spent 15 years appearing nude in "USA Up All Night" comedies like Hollywood Hot Tubs and Cinemax erotic thrillers like Maximum Revenge and Midnight Confessions. Turns out she's also a licensed hair stylist and doubled as the hair and makeup artist on a bunch of her skin flicks as well as regular movies and TV shows. She actually has an Emmy nomination for her hair styling work on Deadwood, of all things.
J.T.
I am dumb. I have seen Liquid Sky and Alice, Sweet Alice dozens of times each and it never dawned on me that the psycho older sister bad seed from Alice, Sweet Alice (Paula E. Sheppard) grew up to be the lesbian roommate from Liquid Sky.

Reed
Bryan Cranston and Linda Hamilton in a 1986 episode of Murder, She Wrote. It's OK, guys: The '80s were a tough time for everyone.
(BP)
Man, Cranston spent 20 years as a journeyman before even landing Malcom in the Middle. His credits are crazy.

Reed
Linda Hamilton has had a rather weird career. Outside of The Terminator movies, she hasn't done much except Beauty and Beast and the crazy volcano pic with Pierce Brosnan. Then again, she has all of James Cameron's money, so I doubt she gives a shit.

What does it say about Linda Hamilton that she was already doing guest appearances on Murder, She Wrote just two years after The Terminator? That Angela Lansbury was hugely respected and she could get tons of awesome guest actors to appear on her show? Nearly every episode of the series has a recognizable actor/actress in it. ArtVanderlay
Charactor actor Billy Drago is probably best known for his portrayal of Frank Nitti in The Untouchables, most of his other roles show him playing the exact same slimy, sleazy character that he portrays in Untouchables... Except for the Chuck Norris turkey Hero and The Terror where he rather unconvincingly plays a therapist specializing in treating rape victims. Elsalvajeloco
I'm surprised every time I rewatch Deadwood and realize that Kristen Bell is in it. Speaking of Deadwood, it took me about three or four episodes to realize who plays Kate Baldwin on House of Cards. That's a damn shame especially considering that show already had multiple Deadwood alum. She looks different without that silly Stevie Nicks in Fleetwood Mac hat. ArtVanderlay
I found L.A. Takedown on Youtube last night. For those of you who've never heard of it, it's a 1989 TV movie pilot written and directed by Michael Mann that was later remade into Heat, and if you've never seen it, it's truly wretched with flat acting from Scott Plank in the Pacino role and ham handed editing. Anyways, Michael Rooker, with a blow dryed perm, shows up in the Ted Levine role and Daniel Baldwin shows up in the Mykelti Wilson role.
Swift
Watching the 1999 X-Files episode "Millennium" the other night, and Frank Black refers to his nurse as Octavia and it was such a strange moment because his nurse was actually Octavia Spencer. Obviously meant nothing back then, but it felt like a weird little fourth wall breaking moment now. Anyway, that got me wondering how long she'd been around as an actress, and she's done a ton of small parts in various TV shows down the years. One thing stuck out though. What does it say about casting agents when you look at this? "Red Band Society" .... Nurse Jackson (13 episodes, 2014-2015) Lost on Purpose (2013) .... Nurse Keller Halloween II (2009) .... Nurse Daniels "Worst Week" .... Nurse (1 episode, 2009)Seven Pounds (2008) .... Kate (Home Health Care Nurse) The Spleenectomy (2008) .... Nurse The Sky Is Falling (2001) .... Nurse #2 "Grounded for Life" .... Admitting Nurse (1 episode, 2001) "City of Angels" .... Nurse Bernice (5 episodes, 2000) "Just Shoot Me!" .... Nurse (1 episode, 2000) What Planet Are You From? (2000) (as Octavia L. Spencer) .... Baby Nurse Everything Put Together (2000) (as Octavia L. Spencer) .... Nurse B "The X Files" .... Nurse Octavia (1 episode, 1999)"Roswell" .... Nurse (1 episode, 1999)"Chicago Hope" .... Nurse Jane (1 episode, 1999) "Brimstone" .... Duty Nurse (1 episode, 1999) A Time to Kill (1996) .... Roark's Nurse and that's just the roles where she's credited as a nurse. There are likely more where she played a nurse, but her character actually had a name. Jingus
What does it say about Linda Hamilton that she was already doing guest appearances on Murder, She Wrote just two years after The Terminator? The first Terminator wasn't THAT huge a deal at the time. It had a couple weekends at #1, but it didn't even crack the top twenty list for year's best earners. It didn't turn into an omnipresent franchise until the sequel came out, which was indeed THAT huge a deal.

ArtVanderlay
Kind of sad to see Hallie Foote show up as the gradnmother in the latest Paranormal Activity. She's the daughter of Horton Foote and has spent most of her career appearing in his plays, but she was excellent playing her own grandmother in the PBS adaptations of Horton Foote's 1918 and On Valentine's Day
