Just went back and re-watched the Lucha Bros vs. Young Bucks match from All Out. I think at this point I have to say that as far as I've been a fan of professional wrestling, the Young Bucks might just be the best tag team that I have seen. For two straight years (one could argue three if you wanted to throw Esculera De La Muerte on there) the Bucks have been in what I view as the best match of the year. Revolution 2020, that match against Hangman and Omega was just so good that I said and still maintain it was the greatest tag match I've ever seen. To have three storylines all going on at one time during the match, along with the actual match itself was just absolutely top notch. Fast forward to last year and they put on an absolute BANGER with the Lucha Bros inside the cage that the crowd gobbled up. Again, the backstory and history that the teams had between each other, the ripped masks, the blood, the pop, Penta embracing his family after the match. Talk about hitting on all points.

I get it, the Bucks aren't some people's cup of tea in the ring and that's fair - but as far as presenting a good storyline with a good payoff, they are as good as anybody in my opinion. Granted, I wasn't around for the Horsemen or the Freebird days so that stuff may not resonate with me as much as 1999-now but I'll be damned if the Bucks aren't in the pinnacle of wrestling tag teams.

So what’s it like being damned?

To each their own I suppose. I like stories in my matches too. But when the story is “I’m going to undermine my opponents offense and damage their credibility for the sake of mugging to the camera,” it gets tiresome. But do you, man.

I think part of the issue is that you're so convinced your opinion is correct that it leads you to believe everyone else is either crazy or stupid for having missed something so obvious. The majority isn't always right, but seeing that most people find SOME value in the Young Bucks (and acknowledge that they've been part of more than one excellent wrestling match) might make the average person question their position, at least a little. Instead, you dig your heels in and refuse to accept that maybe your taste isn't the "correct" one.

Your "to each their own" is invalidated by insisting anyone who doesn't share your opinion likes "offense undermined" and "credibility damaged." You're calling people wrong for liking what they like (and what most everyone not named Jim Cornette likes).

I don't question that there is value in the young Bucks' presence. They're an excellent example of how actively undermining your opponents at every turn can lead to long term credibility issues within the tag team division. I think what frustrates me the most is that they're talented enough to not have to do that. They do it because they're insecure and because they're allowed to.

I also admit that they've been a part of some excellent matches. Of course, I would argue that it isn't difficult to do that when you have influence over how the matches are booked and how strong they're allowed to make themselves look.

If someone really thinks the Young Bucks are the absolute best tag team wrestling has to offer, more power to them. I would just question whether or not they've actually seen any other tag team.

Tripling down on the "everyone else is ignorant or crazy" narrative. You should be able to have a difference of opinion about wrestling without actively making fun of other people.

Do you think the Young Bucks are the greatest tag team of all time?

They feel like a top ten team to me who currently leads their generation. So they are definitely high up the pedestal. But you’ll come around to that eventually when you sit in the corner of a convention with your arms crossed looking at the long line waiting to get autographs, and holovideos from the Bucks at the 2040 Wrestle Reunion on level 340 of the MetaUniverse 3.

If I did, I wouldn't deserve to be belittled by people in public for it. That's the point you're either not grasping or deliberately ignoring.

Has Svenghoulie ever escorted Danhausen to the ring for a match?

Also, I don't expect anyone to get the reference unless you're from the Chicagoland and Michiana area. Maybe the Milwaukee area too.

Svenghoulie is nationwide now. His show is on every Saturday night on MeTV.

Isiah Kasidy did the little girl scream again.  I will spend the next twenty minutes watching it over and over.

We didn't want to tell you, but he's been doing this in every match for years.
