Chaos
Cesaro is clearly a better worker just due to being more seasoned, but I am such an unabashed mark for Rusev that this is not as easy as you would think. Rusev looks like he just has so much fun being this cartoonish, over the top heel.
Tromatagon
Rusev, feel free to blame Dolph for how I voted
goc
Has Cesaro ever come to the ring in a tank? No? Ok, voting Rusev.
Stevie Ray Von Erich
Rusev has so many more quality matches in the voting period and his character work is just on another level. His tv champion tweet after taking the monitor at the Rumble was hilarious. If we were dealing with a full year from Cesaro, my vote would be for him. Sadly, we are not. Dewar
Yeah, Cesaro missing a large chunk of the voting period swings my vote to the lovable Bulgarian who rode to WrestleMania on a tank, and got away with hugging Vince McMahon on live television. RIPPA
God - that made me remember this God... I don't know if I can vote against Rusev
JonnyLaw
I'm not voting against Cesaro. Rusev may be the only person capable of making me question that stance. That guy is pro wrestling.
Chicken Sandwich Carl
All the bad stuff that Rusev was in was in spite of him being awesome. The tank, the fish, the monitor; two word statements that people can instantly remember. Cesaro is a better wrestler, but RuRu, man, RuRu.
JonnyLaw
I'm curious how many people could make Dog Ziggler work.
steve
Man, I was going to vote Cesaro because the League of Nations junk was fresh in my mind, but then I remembered "It's a fish", and I can't vote against that.
JCM
Both guys are awesome, but booking took a bigger shit on Rusev this year so I'm going Cesaro.
Matt D
What a god damn frustrating year that WWE had. I hate this year.

Charlie M.
Rusev is great and entertaining but Cesaro is the best wrestler in the company by a wide margin so he could miss six months and I'd still vote for him. Edit: The missed time thing is bugging me so I looked it up. Cesaro wrestled 148 matches (68 televised) during the voting period. Rusev wrestled 158 (72 televised). Rusev also missed time too, remember?

goc
I really don't see this wide gap between Cesaro & Rusev as far as in ring ability. I DO however see a huge gap in between them as interesting characters. I don't think there is anyway in hell that Cesaro could have made entertaining segments out of the shitty love triangle stuff the way Rusev did.
Niners Fan in CT
Rusev can turn anything into gold. I can't think of another guy out there right now who is consistently turning shit into fine wine.
JCM
I wouldn't call those entertaining segments, but I would say Rusev was entertaining during them. Cesaro was the best in ring guy in WWE up until his injury. I don't know if he had a match all year where he wasn't the best guy in the ring. Counterpoint: Showing he had this range did irreparable damage to his career because he showed WWE writers they could do dumb things with him instead of booking him as the monster he should be. Cesaro built an entire house show match against the Miz around sunglasses and still looked like a wrestling god in the process.
