LethalStriker
I haven't been able to find a Fast & Furious thread on the new DVDVR board. So I guess I'll have to start one myself. Tony Jaa was announced as joining the cast Fast & Furious 7 as one of Jason Statham's characters accomplices. In addition to the already announced news that Ronda Rousey was joining the cast. Also good chance that Lucas Black and Bow Wow could end up in the movie in some capacity. I think that if Black and Bow Wow ended up in the movie it would be more along the lines of an after the credits scene with a bigger role in Fast 8. John Austin
Oh wow. The only bad thing about it is that he's playing someone with Statham and not against him as that would be a fight I'd love to see on the big screen.
Zero
The Tony Jaa addition is cool, but as John Austin said wish we got a Statham/Jaa fight.
LethalStriker
I think we'll end up getting Vin Diesel vs. Jason Statham and a Dwayne Johnson vs. Tony Jaa fight scenes in the movie. Not sure if Ronda Rousey is playing a good guy or bad guy but I wouldn't be shocked to then see a Ronda vs. Michelle Rodriguez fight scene. Niners Fan in CT
Is The Rock signed on? I had heard he may not appear in this one which would be unfortunate.
Ace
As of last week or so, he's in.
LethalStriker
http://screenrant.com/fast-furious-7-director-james-wan-cast-dwayne-johnson-2014/ Confirms that Dwayne will be back. But I don't think he'll have as central of a character as he did in 5 & 6.
humanhorrorfilm
Just was reading they are making another trilogy, 7,8 AND 9. I don't know how they'll do it, but i will throw money at the screen whenever they come out. These are just damn entertaining.
LethalStriker
I wonder how long until Dom and Brian start to pass the torch to other actors being the focus of the series.
Ellsworth Toohey
I wonder how long until Dom and Brian start to pass the torch to other actors being the focus of the series. As long as their non-Fast & Furious movies continue to bomb at the box office, it's going to be a very long time before either Paul Walker or Vin Diesel "pass the torch." Elsalvajeloco
Vin might do okay, but Paul Walker better not step four feet away from that franchise.
Reggie20x6
I will always be thankful for this franchise getting Rock out of whatever Hollywood jail he was in after Doom/Southland Tales. Those two duds dropped, and he followed it up with Gridiron Gang, The Game Plan, Race to Witch Mountain and Tooth Fairy. What a dark time. After Fast 5 he's played a coked-up bodybuilder, a G.I. Joe and will soon be Hercules. All is right with the world.
humanhorrorfilm
The Rock was the only good part of Be Cool, but I forget if that was before or after Doom......and I liked Doom
Raziel
The Game Plan and Race to Witch Mountain are perfectly acceptable Disney-made family flicks.

driver
$147 mil on a $22 mil investment. Kind of surprised that there wasn't a Game Plan 2 starring Larry The Cable Guy.
LethalStriker
The Rock seemed really slimmed down for Game Plan for a guy who used to be a DT, he looked believable as a QB.
J.T.
The guy who really needs to come back for this next FF movie obviously is Sonny Chiba.
LethalStriker
If the casting news of F&F7 wasn't awesome enough as is, you can add Kurt Russell to the group of actors.
TheVileOne
Looks like Fast 7 is going to give Expendables 3 a run for its money. Anyway, I'm thankful for the Fast franchise since it's probably the only reason we are getting another Riddick film, which I'm seeing Tuesday and really excited about. LethalStriker
With the completion of the Riddick trilogy where does Vin go for his non F&F films to work on? F&F 7 is getting fast tracked to be out next year but you have to think that part 8 won't be out till at least 2016 so that leaves a lot of down time in his work schedule. Kind of hope he does some more smaller budget movies and even some supporting roles. I thought he was good in Boiler Room and Knockaround Guys. LethalStriker
Paul Walker needs to do a Running Scared sequel. Too bad it's not a Universal property otherwise he could leverage his returning for F&F Movies to getting a sequel to it like Vin did with the Riddick movies.
