  1. Now we're getting into an element of conversation in what commands the title of a "great action movie" are we looking for action, or action and the combination of a great villain/hero(es) dynamic? I would eriously like to get an honest, non feudal consensus regarding this? We could go for hours, and there is the idea that a hero is only as good as his villain. I mean shit, Batman ha the best Rogue Gallery, ever, by a large margin and he is considered one of the best superheroes ever.
  2. I have never watched that movie more than twice, and I've owned it for many years. It is all encompassing and absolutely soul crushing. I've known a few people that've gone down certain parts of the road that movie presented and I can tel you, despite acknowledging its greatness as a movie, it is a journey i can barely stomach watching
  3. I disagree with that. I honestly think it was the show not knowing how long the seasons wanted to go on each murder.
  4. I have to go with FSW on this on the sheer fact that no one disrepects Corporal Hick.

  6. Id want to see a spin off/prequel of young Raylan Givens and/or Boyd Crowder or Ellstin Limehouse.....shit....could you imagine a prequel documenting the beginnings of the Givens/Bennett feud. Justified.....fulllll of possibilities. Another one, seeing how Mal/Zoey survived the war preceding Firefly.
  7. Plus it gives another character Quagmire likes, as opposed to his disdain for Brian
  8. I'll agree for plot and villain, action edge to Die Hard and it's an edge to Willis because of his lack of shoes. I think it all comes down to how you feel about Nicholas Cage.
  9. I agree with a previous poster in that I identify that Connery is playing an imprisoned James Bond. It helps, immensely. I never said it was far in between.....But I'm sure you're referring to FSW
  10. I'd put Aliens above T2, but the Rock id have Top 5.
  11. That is an interesting point. He took a pretty bad beating in that street fight and it would have probably been stopped in an official fight. That was my thought exactly. Especially at the end, he was down longer than a 10 count. I could see where he was "supposed to die"
  12. Am I the only one who thinks Rocky would've lost a legit boxing match as oppsoed to a street fight in Rocky V?
  13. Airborne. The Quintessential Roller Blading movie.
  14. Wow, Cabin Boy, now that is one I can never, ever forget. I will revisit this as soon as I get home, as I definitely own the DVD proudly.
  15. Sex Drive. the Directors Cut because James Marsden is all sorts of fucking spectacular in it. Brain Donors with John Turturro, based on the Marx Brothers and another all time favorite as a kid was Disorderlies.
  16. This was basically Jax telling Happy to go "f" himself. He knows full well the Chinese will kill Happy if they don't get the gun deal, but WHO CARES!?! He resolved his daddy issues. This show was so much better when it wasnt a 60-90 minute cinematic fellation to the character of Jax.
  17. He's also in an episode of Firefly where Jayne tries to sell out River and Simon.
  18. I look at character actors as the mid-card. People like Ron Perlman, Steve Buscemi, etc.
  19. I liked when he did movies where he didn't have to kick someone's teeth in. Snatch, Lock Stock and 2 Soking Barrels, and The Bank Job. Also, wa having a discussion with a friend......has STatham EVER gotten his ass handed to him in a movie?
  20. Werent the Raiders supposed to have a semi decent defense?
  21. I am realy glad I was unaware of these, until NOW For shame....for shame
  22. I have not....seen you..... Raul Julia was incredible, absolutely incredible. I wouldn't want them to reboot it, ever.
