They pushed it as a huge deal for Dolph, a career-defining night...and the IC Title wasn't on the line. I get that Seth is far above the title in theory, but they have a legit chance to make that title into what the World Heavyweight title was at its peak - a secondary title that feels important, and they're not maximizing it. Kratos outta kick the shit of them..Ugh. Also, Nikki's shorts are getting smaller and smaller. But how can someone as spotty as Noami be such a bad bumper? That match was suppose to showcase her movez and none of them looked good.

And at least throwing in the Egyptian eye design clears up their backstories a little more - obviously, they're post-apocalyptic vampire mummy dog-gods. 1

The Road Warriors tribute gimmick isn't any worse and probably has mildly better odds of getting them over. Their biggest impediment is that they generally haven't looked very good in developmental, but it probably is an Adam Rose scenario where they've improved as much as they're going to in NXT. Time to gie them a chance on the main roster or release them. 1

Time to gie them a chance on the main roster or release them. It will if done right. You have to have them mow through the tag division like monsters so that the characters look larger than life. I always thought the Vampiro and Gangrel gimmicks could get over huge if you went with a massive, overpowering heel type gimmick. But they were mid card guys and nobody cared for them. The Road Warriors worked because their gimmick came off as larger than life. The stiff in ring work backed up the outfits. Ascension has to have the same monster push for their gimmick to work. If they go the Vampiro/Gangrel route it will never work.
