They weren't thrown together as "two guys are feuding, let's put them in a team where they won't get along to further the angle" (like MVP and Matt Hardy); they weren't "let's throw to main eventers into the tag scene to give them something to do/pad their title reigns/make it look like we care about the tag division"; they had angles centred around being a team, rather than just being sent out there for time-filling matches; and they were together for a decent amount of time (for nowadays.)
