AlfredoE
Uh-oh... Reporter: "Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love they are two max players, they're here." Blatt responds quickly: "Kevin's not a max player yet." That isn't gonna end well for the Cavs.
RandomAct
I love how Blatt gives no fucks when it comes to his responses. It's kinda refreshing. Not in the Pop or Carlisle "I just want to get my jollies by fucking with Doris" kinda way, but in the "you're getting my honest opinion" kinda way.
mco543
I think Blatt is resigned to the fact he's getting fired and doesnt give a shit anymore. I hope goes down guns firing in a blaze of acerbic press conference quotes.

Jrag
LOL at that quote. I'd like to think that the greatness of Boogie Cousins finally made Blatt lose his composure. Love truly isn't top 5 at his position, though. When we argued about this over the summer I said that Griffin, Aldridge, AD, Duncan and Bosh were all ahead of him. Might need to add a few more to that list now. Pau has inexplicably jumped back in the conversation.
Charlie M.
It's still a bit of a longshot but Miami finishing ahead of the Cavs is still on the table.
muhammedboehm
Has anyone floated the idea that LeBron/NBA is pulling a play from Vince's playbook. Instead of sending Hogan,Hall, Nash, and Russo to kill WCW LeBron/NBA has sent himself twice.
Pete
The Knicks have become such a dumpster fire it's amazing. I mean I've been watching them since Red f'n Holzman was their coach and they were never this bad before. Truly fascinating.
AlfredoE
Is it worse than the Isiah Thomas Knicks era? I get the "on the court" awfulness from this season's Knicks, but from an overall feeling (i.e. players, caproom coming, front office, coaching) is it worse than back then? Niners Fan in CT
It's not worse... yet. But my question is, who are these magical free agents and or/unhappy stars that are coming to New York? If Westbrook or Love go anywhere it'd probably be LA. If Durant goes anywhere it'd probably be DC.
RonL21
As an employee of the Atlanta Hawks/Philips Arena, I must say that this team is absolutely fun to watch every night. I thought it was going to be business as usual when they started 7-6. I had no idea, and no one did, that they would go 22-2 since then, beating top tier teams in the West, on the road, along the way. It's also good that 4 out of the last 5 home games have been sellouts, with actual Hawks supporters attending. I'm looking forward to see the Thunder and Blazers when they visit at the end of the month. It's a shame that the Feb. 6th match up @ Philips vs. Golden State won't be nationally televised. The ESPN game that Friday is scheduled to be Clippers @ Raptors.

Brian Fowler
Pistons just erased a 12 point half time deficit to take the last in Toronto. I'm loving how tough this team has become.

Josh Mann
The Nets are apparently on the selling block. No truth to the rumor that the first offer came from a "Sonald Derling"
Kuetsar
Listen, I know there's less than one is a five hundred Gazillon chance it would happen, but how funny would the Nets leaving the brand new Brooklyn arena for Seattle be?
RandomAct
So Lebron legit shoved David Blatt out of the way so he can bitch at a ref. What a piece of work this guy is.

_MJ_
That "shove" is already overblown and it hasn't even gone through tomorrow sports media circuit. The Kevin Love/David Blatt situation is the real concern for them if any type of player/coach relationship needs to reviewed. The elephant in the room is their defense and it's not going away.
Jrag
Watched the Cavs/Suns game. Bron, JR and Blatt were the only reasons it was even close. Bron kept them in it, JR brought em back and Blatt benched Love in the 4th. Serously, if Love had played in the 4th, Markieff would have made it to 50. Jrag
Epic game winning flop by Tyson Chandler by the way. Game isn't over yet, but Boogie fouled out (one assist short of a triple double) and it's pretty much over even though OT just started.
