I suspect the majority of the review for Dragon 2 will be flattering.  If the trailer is to be believed, I will be reduced to a weeping idiot within the first fourty five minutes of the movie.

After 32 reviews, X-Men: Days of Future Past is 94% fresh with 30 fresh reviews and only 2 rotten. Looking back on a few of the Rotten Tomatoes lists, the placement of the film varies from high/middle/low.

For the purposes of this contest - it looks like Spiderman isn't going to break $200 million (since I don't think it is going to make almost $30 million before SKOS locks in its 28 day number)

Surely that's a first for Spider-Man.

Thankfully I left X-Men off my RT list since I probably would have given it a pretty low rating. Regretfully I don't see not paying for putting ASM2 at #1 on my box office list and Godzilla at #10.

I decided to use the same list of films for both lists because I had assumed that was what we were supposed to be doing.

My RT list would have probably included the more daring stuff like Lucy and Jupiter Ascending.

My main hope is to finish ahead of The Erotic Terrorist and RossWB.  Oh yeah. I'm calling them out.

That is fair. If that happens then I'll acknowledge it. I know that like many others I did struggle with how to rank the movies compared to previous years. What I typically do is that for the box office take I look at a few different sites and see what they say. For the RT list, some of it is pure guessing and when it's something like a sequel I do look at what the previous film did with the critics. First Class did really well with the critics so I presumed the new film would be the same and thankfully for me at least that is indeed the case.

Playful jab, Erotic Terrorist, since you usually do very well in this game.  Yeah, I fully admit I did my research for the box office.  I'm not 100 percent sure, but I don't think I have ever finished with a better RT list than box office list.  It's much more guess work with the RT rankings.  There's always at least one sequel that bombs or does better than the original; it's not easy to figure out.

I'm glad to hear X-MEN DFP is doing well with the critics.  I only have one movie ahead of it on my RT list.  92 percent, huh?  I wonder if that score would have been high enough to top last year's RT list rankings.

Now I just need it to have one of the biggest Memorial Day openings in cinema history.  That's all.  All you comic fiends on here need to see it twice, please.

It's been slipping a little bit (from 93 on Thursday afternoon down to 90 earlier tonight, but it's now back up to 91) but it looks like it's definitely going to hold in the very good range.

Edge of Tomorrow also has the first few reviews out and so far it's 8 fresh and only 1 rotten.

Quickly glancing through the lists, most have this at the bottom of their RT list. Glad I left it off mine.

All You Need Is Kill is a great novel so I am expecting Edge of Tomorrow to be pretty good even if Cruise hams it up.
