Gonzalez Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 So Whedon isn't giving up on shoving Firefly down general audiences throats, is he?
Niners Fan in CT Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Stark creating Ultron completely undercuts Pym. Might as well not even use Pym as a future character.
Tromatagon Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Feige has gone on record saying Age of Ultron isn't based on the shitty event.
Doubting El Dandy Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I'm sure it has been said before but they are wasting Drax on Batista unless he shakes some ropes, wears big ass aviator shades, or slams someone while also falling over.
Big Fresh Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 So Whedon isn't giving up on shoving Firefly down general audiences throats, is he?Choke it down, like it, and beg for more, damnit!
Ace Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Karen Gillan continues to morph into Kieron Gillen. She's got a ridiculously well shaped head.
Ligerbusa Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I saw an interview she did the day before, what a great swerve.
Gonzalez Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 We don't have to have him. It works very simply — this is Marvel cinema, not Marvel comics. One thing [Marvel Studios head] Kevin Feige has a genius for is knowing what to hold onto and what to let go of. You can invoke the feeling you had and play with the characters you love and remain true to the needs of the film. You'll have to wait and and see, but you don't need a Pym to create an Ultron. - Joss Whedon on his hipster snark fest Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Big Fresh Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 She's got a ridiculously well shaped head. Well it definetly worked because I've never heard of her until now (not a Dr. Who watcher), but I'm saying to myself, "Holy shit! That girl is crazy and awesome and my new favorite person in the world." 1
Ace Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 One of the multiple unannounced guests of the Marvel Film panel The condensed GotG panel which only went 15 minutes. If you see the full ones, you get Gillan and Rooker stroking each other's bald heads and Rooker eulogizing Merle.
Brock Samson Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Someone care to fill me in? Why is Gillan bald (I assume it has something to do with the movie)? And why did she take off her wig on stage at the convention?
Gonzalez Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 She's playing Nebula in the Marvel movie Guardians of The Galaxy. Never heard of that character, right? Don't worry nobody else does either. Apparently someone at Disney decided to green-light a big budget sci-fi space opera that's not called Star Wars after the box-office bomb John Carter. She's also based on the current bald version... And not the one with the ginormous chest, and ass... And hair too...
Ellsworth Toohey Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Apparently someone at Disney decided to green-light a big budget sci-fi space opera that's not called Star Wars after the box-office bomb John Carter. I think they're gambling on the fact that it has "Marvel's" in the title.
The Natural Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 Tom Hiddleston as Loki at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 is one of the best things I've seen this year. I'll never tire of his Loki. Here's his full speech: "Humanity! Look how far you've fallen, waiting all day in the sweltering heat, huddled in the dark. I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose. Stand back, you mewling quim! The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for a place in this chamber, this miserly palace of Midgard, the meagre place they call Hall H. You should have let me rule you when you had the chance. Yet here you are! Kneel! Your ears yearn for untold stories. Your eyes crave unseen sights. Your imaginations ache and hunger. Where are your Avengers now? Claim loyalty to me and I will give you what you need. Say my name! It seems I have an army. Feast your eyes!" Now that is how you introduce footage. Big Fresh Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Gonzalez once accused me of "terrorizing a thread" because I wasn't shitting all over Microsoft like everyone else. This is how I like my hypocrisy served, my friends.
The Natural Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 Anybody come across the footage shown from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy?
Dog Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 When I was a kid, I was down on a lot of things. Thought the world treated me terribly and hated myself at the same time. Then I learned to be grateful for all the fortune I was overlooking. I started appreciating the good people and great things around me. Today I am grateful I am not Gonzalez.

It's ok, cause he's not him. It's an act.
Matt D Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 No no, I am grateful that Dog is not Gonzalez too. Gonzalez is not man's best friend.
Cliff Hanger Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Love the Star-Lord helm and guns and Drax's knives. Not a fan of the Nova Corps uniform, and REALLY not a fan of a Pymless Ultron. Having Tony be the AI guy as well as the armor guy doesn't work for me.
Tromatagon Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Well to be fair he's been the AI guy for four movies 1
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I read the comic and it was fucking terrible.
