Bear Wyatt Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Those are even worse than ADR's "punches" against DB on Raw.
Lazlo Woodbine Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Shane O Mac is still the gold standard for shite punches though. 1
cool arrow Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I was going to say something snarky like "Lance Storm says hey" or "Sid begs to differ." But yeah, those are bad.
scraylo187 Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I think Shane wrestling might be why I stopped watching for a while. 2
Brian Fowler Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Good lord, Superstar's full nelson is fucking brutal and painful looking. Ye-ouch. I like it.
cool arrow Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 About as much as the WCW marks did when they chanted along with Konnan's shit.
RIPPA Posted October 18, 2013 Author Posted October 18, 2013 Yup... probably still my favorite move in wrestling. Clearly I care not about concussions. 4
GojiColin Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Is that the famed Steiner Squaredriver? Because holy crap that looks brutal.
Territorial Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Is that the famed Steiner Squaredriver? Because holy crap that looks brutal. Yep. square driver AKA Steiner Screwdriver. When I was a regular at PWG shows years ago (early days), I used to wonder which was the worse bet for your health: taking the screwdriver from Steiner, or a smallish indy guy like Chris Bosh?

Probably a small guy b/c he might not have the strength to properly protect you. Could let you slip at an inopportune moment.
cool arrow Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Scott didn't get sloppy until his BPP days so I'd agree with the above.
RIPPA Posted October 18, 2013 Author Posted October 18, 2013 Well as I was looking through gifs yesterday - Steiner also modified the way he did it as he became enormous and could no longer hold guys up for the suplex. Of course... didn't make it any safer
Brian Fowler Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Scotty had a reckless disregard for human life, but damn did it look good. 1
notoriusvig Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 EDIT: I have no idea why the thing is so damn huge
kafkonia Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 EDIT: I have no idea why the thing is so damn huge Genetics. 10
Rev Ray Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Scott didn't get sloppy until his BPP days so I'd agree with the above. Uhhhh... I thought the Steiners had a rep of being a bit reckless with people. If I seem to recall, they couldn't find any job guys who were willing to take the Frankensteiner at a WWF tv taping, so they threw a mask on Mike Enos who was working as one of the Beverleys at the time so he could take the move.
ecchirebirth Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 EDIT: I have no idea why the thing is so damn huge That *is* Peter Maivia, yes? 1
Pete Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 EDIT: I have no idea why the thing is so damn huge That's what she said!
Jerry Hattrick Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 EDIT: I have no idea why the thing is so damn huge That *is* Peter Maivia, yes? He was going to be named Charles then his parents got one look, and yep...

That story is true, but I honestly don't remember Scott having a rep at the time. Rick did though, absolutely.
