Bustronaut Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Didn't the Bullet wrestle a match in TNA a few years back?
Reggie20x6 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Bruce Mitchell, BIG DAVE and Bryan played F-Marry-Kill on today's radio show.
odessasteps Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 Did they have to explain to Bryan who Bill Simmons was?
Reggie20x6 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Mitchell at one point went for the hot-tag on Bryan, to get his opinion on the HHH/Grantland incident, but BIG DAVE cut him off quickly and BURIED Bryan's opinion. So, basically, Bryan sat around while the grown-ups talked to each other for 90 minutes.

So, basically, Bryan sat around while the grown-ups talked to each other for 90 minutes.Too bad this wasn't a free show. Sounds like Dave pulled a HHH. He had a reason to do it. Bryan went with the old "maybe he mixed things up" argument.
clintthecrippler Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 From today's update: 1981 - In Memphis, Joey Cagle & Rocky Sorter beat Eddie Gilbert & Ricky Morton to win the Southern tag team titles, Steve Keirn beat Bugsy McGraw to win the Mid-American title, Dream Machine beat Jerry Lawler in a loser leaves town match to win the Southern title when Koko Ware turned heel on Lawler as referee Joey Cagle & Rocky Sorter? A tag team called The Heartbreakers. One of those '80s tag teams where it was two fat guys with blonde mullets doing evil pretty boy gimmicks. I don't think they were in the wrestling business much longer beyond this. I think they are part of an eight-man tag that is part of the '80s Memphis set. 1
cool arrow Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 From today's update: 1979 - IC champion Pat Patterson beat WWF champion Bob Backlund in a title vs. title match in Springfield, MA That can't be right, can it? Patterson was never WWF champion.

Territorial Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 From today's update: 1979 - IC champion Pat Patterson beat WWF champion Bob Backlund in a title vs. title match in Springfield, MA That can't be right, can it? Patterson was never WWF champion. Patterson won via countout. Belt didn't change hands. Patterson beat Backlund at least a couple times during late '79, but never cleanly so he never won the title.
cool arrow Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Well, that's what I get for assuming that beat = pinned.
Matt D Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 So wait, Jerry was the Crush of the Valiants?
cool arrow Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 So wait, Jerry was the Crush of the Valiants? Or, if you prefer, the Jimmy Jack.
Johnny Sorrow Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 So wait, Jerry was the Crush of the Valiants?Jerry was actually really good. People remember him as some sort of lesser guy, but we've been watching a lot of Valiants for the 70's - early 80's podcast and Jerry's been impressive
Reggie20x6 Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 The Semi-Annual ~BODYBUILDING TALK! returned to Observer Radio today. It's like Christmas in July... in September! BIG DAVE talkin' calf work, Nautilus and pre-exhaustion training warmed my heart. 1
nate Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 They didn't happen. I'm considering going to the Hardcore show just to see Terry live one more time. Short-I or long-I sound? 2
Reggie20x6 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Free Observer Radio today. Listen to BIG Dave absolutely BURY the Diva's title, AJ Lee, Sable, Debra, Jillian Hall and the collective childhood dream of all female wrestling fans. It's fun for the whole family! 1
RIPPA Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The best is 30 seconds into the episode Alvarez makes a joke about Night of Champions going against the season finale of Total Divas and Dave just deadpanning "that's not going to hurt them" 1
cool arrow Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I'd often wondered why WWF had Mean Gene work a tag match. And now I know.
MushroomJones Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 That Kevin Von Erich/Dr. Death story was great. Also, when asking about Hunico coming back, Bryan asked Dave about a comment TJ Wilson made on Twitter, possibly about Dave, who brushed it off. Any idea what this was about?
