odessasteps Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 As dumb as it sounds, a movie dealing with dealers trying to cope in a world of legal weed is not a bad idea. Now, is it a good idea for Jay and Silent Bob? Maybe not.
(BP) Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 He posted an image of a prop from the new one that’s a parody of the Necronomicon, so before the dispensary plot came out I was hoping it’d be Jay and Bob in a horror movie. I know they aren’t going to get an A-list franchise, but maybe Jay and Silent Bob Make a Wrong Turn or Jay and Silent Bob and Victor Crowley.

Jay & Silent Bob turned the video store into a dispensary after Clerks II.
RIPPA Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 The Saturday Night Live movie will no longer be called SNL 1975. It is now titled simply Saturday Night It has been given a release date of Oct 11, 2024

A biopic about the Bay City Rollers, slice of life comedy about high school kids planning their weekend, mob movie about a hit that's going down, anything. 1 1

I am so goddamned wrestling-brained that I interpreted that as his steroid cycle and was horrified by the specter of Yoked Kevin Smith 5
zendragon Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 If you haven't noticed he went on Penn gillete's all potato diet and really slimmed down after a near fatal heart attack

Clerks III was okay, albeit very sad. Spoiler It's the end of Dante and Randall's story. Dante dies, being reunited with Becky, whose death (and their unborn child) in between films he never got over. Randall basically becomes Kevin Smith, making movies until he's 90. Elias replaces Dante as part-owner of the Quik-Stop. Edited July 31, 2024 by Ace

I was worried he'd gone full Carrot Top when I wasn't paying attention. 1 1

SNL wasn't even SNL in 1975. Saturday Night was the show's name. Howard Cossell had a show on ABC called "Saturday Night Live".

odessasteps Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 I think my favorite Smith thing now is the Clerks cartoon. 1

Curt McGirt Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it's been about that long, and me and a friend were drunk and on A LOT of drugs watching it... him more than me, granted. 1
