Yeah but the reason Mandy Rose is able to do that is because she's an established WWE talent over the last several years. Like I think it's great she can finally cash in on all that, but it also seems like bad business and diplomatic relations.

It seems like Vince’s reasoning in trying to take at least some of talent’s income from sites like Twitch and Onlyfans was that talent was able to make that sort of income by trading on their popularity as WWE stars.  He’s not wrong in that regard.   Not an expert, but it seems likely your asking price is a lot lower If you are an unknown indie wrestler or a failed boat show model.

edit: The Mandy story is getting mainstream publicity.

Where is the issue? WWE has made money off this person's likeness, and in return, she's earned notoriety through her own work with the company.

Now, she wants to take that notoriety and move in a different direction with it. WWE got what they wanted out of the relationship and so did she.

I don't understand why people argue that the performer owes anything to the company. She traded her labor for a check and a profile. That's fair.

lemme check a different forum... and they were 30 pages into a discussion thread about Mandy Rose before she got released (more replies than Jenny Scordamaglia discussion, not as many as Sofia Gomez discussion). Who knew there was such a thriving wrestling message board among people that rely on the generosity of someone paying for a person's OF to leak everything they have.

Okay, the overlap between wrestling fans and internet porn aficionados shouldn't be that surprising.

Absolutely no reason to believe that if Punk had came back to WWE instead (or still does) that he won’t follow the same pattern as Cody. Have some TV matches against established upper midcarders, feud with a top name, and go multiple PPVs having repeats of matches.

Nothing wrong with multiple PPVs with repeat matches though, is there? Three consecutive ROH shows were just sold on the back of the same single match and most of us loved it. And in Cody's case, it was a masterstroke in bringing him in correctly. Cody was never an established WWE main eventer, but he sure looks like one after sweeping Seth Rollins 3-0 (capped with that last performance with a torn pec). I know people talk shit on 50-50 booking, but rematches have a place and letting someone bat 1000 against a perennial headliner is a great use of them. Everyone should wish they were booked so strongly.

Shoot, I'm still sad about not getting Punk-Friedman 3. People like series of matches. Yay for repeats of matches!

Women, and men, should be able to do whatever the fuck they want with their own bodies. I'm 42 and I never even knew Mandy Rose had an OnlyFans or whatever she had until today. I would imagine the vast, vast, vast majority of the audience also had no clue. Literally no one was hurt or affected by this and people are now only aware because they fired her for it.

Go fuck yourself with all of this talk of morality clauses or "why did she do it now instead of waiting until her contract was up" bullshit. It's her body and it's her own business.

The issue is that I believe WWE has a policy on this. Now if you don't like the policy and you are OK with breaking your contract to do that, I guess great. Granted, I don't think it's a just policy and WWE should be able to prevent wrestlers from making outside money not related to wrestling, but if wrestlers don't want to speak up for themselves and fight for that, that's on them.

While that is an honorable pedestal to stand on, and I think most would agree, the point here isn't whether it is right or wrong, but her knowing she couldn't have both. WWE gave her a contract that she read and signed, so she should have known either she can work for WWE, or she can do the OnlyFans type deal. Saying she can do 'whatever the fuck' she wants with her body is true, but using that as an argument is moving the goalpost since I don't think anyone disagrees. No one is judging her as a person or looking down on her. But in the real world, contracts mean something so people were just pointing out if she wanted to do that type of content she couldn't also work in WWE too. And its a wrestling message board, people are doing to talk about it and have different opinions.

Personally, I agree its bullshit, WWE sells sex so telling a wrestler they can't sell sex to make side money is ridiculous. But I'd also never sign a contract that said I couldn't do side jobs either, its a tough position and one that sucks.

Sure, she decided to ignore the policy and move a different direction and so did WWE. Cool. Where's the controversy? Both parties made moves that they felt were best for them.

I don't think people should be fired over this, but i'm also not surprised that a company with a clear record of not wanting their employees to make 'side'-money without giving them a cut is doing this.

Meanwhile some unhappy male talent in the future will ponder "can I finally get my release if I post my cock online for money?", just to make this while debate a little more awkward for some people.

MORE MENS OPINIONS ON WOMENS BODIES.

To be fair... Are we thinking if Riddle or Rollins were caught spinning their meat on OF they wouldn't be fired either? I mean we don't have a male to example to counter this with, but Paige did have a sex tape released and she wasn't fired. So idk. Whole situation is intersting to say the least.

Some of that was directed at the incel and stormfront forum poster who has a history a looking down on women.

Saraya had a sex tape leaked by a ex-lover. That’s entirely different from what we’re talking about.

This is a good way to divert this topic. Which guys would you think have a good sex tape?

Sid. Charisma alone. And you know there's going to be a lot of fist bumps.

People would complain about too much posing, but the answer is whoever is most likely to hit the bicep flex American Psycho-style. Dolph?
