Guest Edwin
Some new classic Puerto Rican footage maybe making the rounds soon. He says some of the footage was previously released in English, but he has it with the original Spanish commentary. He's working with Classics WWC on releasing this footage. Some will be uploaded to the Classics WWC YouTube page and some on the Facebook page so it is worth following both pages. AxB
9 minutes ago, LoneWolf&Subs said: It wasn’t his fault they stuck 2 hour development on cable. It's absolutely H's decision that NXT went from being a developmental territory, to being a high budget super indie (featuring trainees). The current unengaging overkill style of the brand does somewhat have his fingerprints on it as well. When he was at his in-ring peak, H's epic main event matches were basically a slower, less athletic version of a Gargano vs Cole takeover match. Including all the bits where the crowd gets bored and wonders why the match hasn't finished yet 2 1
LoneWolf&Subs
I mean yeah when you put it that way, he shares the blame. Also overexposing guys to your hardcores before they reach the main roster didn’t help. Vince treats them like NXT doesn’t exist as soon as they are called up. Super Ape
I’m curious as to what this means for NXT as a brand, if it’s going to be shaken up and run by one of Vince’s guys instead of Hunter. If so... hoooooo boy are you poor saps in for a bad time.
LoneWolf&Subs
I wonder if the double cage match was the last straw.
JonnyLaw
I’m not exactly sure how y’all think going from EVP of Talent, Live Events, and Creative to EVP of Global Talent Strategy and Development, including overseeing the company’s Talent Relations and Talent Development department, is a demotion. It sounds like instead of dealing with day-to-day house show and creative bullshit, he’s in charge of their plans for global business expansion, including all of the various NXTs. dragonzombie
Triple H got promoted. Portion of the document sent to shareholders below: "Paul “Triple H” Levesque has served as our Executive Vice President, Global Talent Strategy & Development since February 2020, and prior thereto was Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative since August 2011. In his current role, he oversees the Company’s Talent Relations and Talent Development departments. Additionally, Mr. Levesque plays an integral role in the Company’s creative process, helping shape the creative direction and storylines of WWE’s programming. Mr. Levesque is revolutionizing the business with his global recruiting strategy and developmental training processes. In order to create a platform for future success, he established the Company’s state of the art training facility, the WWE Performance Center, which paved the way for the WWE’s third global brand, NXT. Mr. Levesque debuted as a WWE Superstar, “Triple H”, in 1995 and has held the WWE Heavyweight Championship title 14 times. He has captured every major championship, headlined thousands of WWE events, and entertained millions around the world. Mr. Levesque is married to Stephanie McMahon and together they established Connor’s Cure. Mr. Levesque is the son-in-law of Vincent McMahon." Anyway with the reduction of live events (house shows) and soon more reductions, the live event role was no longer needed.
Raziel
But how are we supposed to roast Vince for killing the fed if he's promoting Trip?

LoneWolf&Subs
Okay but he’s not involved with the creative direction of NXT anymore, which is one of the things that was pointed out.

dragonzombie
Again " Additionally, Mr. Levesque plays an integral role in the Company’s creative process, helping shape the creative direction and storylines of WWE’s programming." He is in charge of all creative now. About house shows: Both WWE and AEW feel house shows are antiquated. The removal of them saves lot of money renting for buildings, lowers injuries rates and allows more time to heal the workers pain. Makes the remaining shows feel more special. dragonzombie
WWE doesn't need most of them anymore. Since Saudia, TV Deals, Sponsorships money replaces them. Edited March 10, 2020 by D.Z
John from Cincinnati
Quote All AEW events are currently moving forward as scheduled. Of course, the safety and well-being of AEW fans, partners and talent is always our top priority, so we will continue to closely monitor the rapidly evolving situation related to COVID-19 and be guided by government officials, health organizations and venue management. AEW will update ticket purchasers if there are any changes to the event schedule, and we encourage everyone in the AEW family to be good to themselves – and each other – by taking preventative actions as recommended by the CDC and WHO. https://www.allelitewrestling.com/aew-coronavirus-notice

Curt McGirt
I love you guys using "juicy booty". That's one of my favorite lines from Colors, when Sy Richardson says "Let's get some of this juicy booty!" to Sean Penn and Robert Duvall before going on a police raid, to which Penn laughing responds "Juicy booty..." That is one of the most quotable movies ever. Sy has a couple other good ones: NSFW for language
Craig H
The only reason I can think of that people interpreted HHH's role change as a demotion is because shithead rovert said it was a demotion and then people ran with that. Rovert is an idiot. 5
AxB
How did Rovert manage to go from DVDVR Board poster nobody liked, to twitter wrestling newz reporter people listen to? It's an odd arc for an internet career to take. Here's some wrestling news: Great Sasuke vs Low Ki (for the first time ever) in Seattle next month. Company called Defy Wrestling. Don't know if it's streaming anywhere.

If you think its strange that people listen to Rovert, I'm going to need you to watch the news. There is this orange guy, who like half the country seems to listen to...it's fucking strange. Then there is this other dude, who always seems to be pushing up on someone's wife, who is also strangely popular. Then there is this dude, who looks like he doesn't own a comb, he has a whole group of bros that hang on his every word. 2 4
