Are they ever going to tear down and rebuild the Civic Center/Baltimore Arena/ 1st Mariner/Royal Farm Arena/whatever it's call now? I remember the idea was seriously discussed a while back and, holy shit, I just looked it up and the building is 57 years old. I personally hope not. It could stand to be renovated but rebuilding it would really bum me out. My parents went to see Bruno when it was the Civic Center and I still call it the Baltimore Arena from all the times I went since I was a kid. EDIT: And to Hammerva's point below the arena was there first and I've always been against having that stupid-ass casino there. There's one at Arundel Mills that's far superior and people would rather go to that or MGM over Horseshoe. Edited October 2, 2019 by NikoBaltimore
hammerva Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 I don't know why they never put some big entertainment arena near that casino in Baltimore like MGM Harbor does. Maybe the Horsehoe or whoever owns that property doesn't like to do that.

LoneWolf&Subs Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) Cool video featuring Cody, Brit Baker, The Bucks, and Scorpio Sky. Laying out who they are just using visuals. Directed by Nick Mondo. Displaying that AEW should lock him down exclusively. Edited October 2, 2019 by LoneWolf&Subs 10 1

Technico Support Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Just now, John Austin said: Wait, the old CZW Mondo? He went from filmmaking to this? He's good! Yep. He also did the hype video (videos?) for Moxley. 2
Jiji Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 That still breaks my brain. He's really good and very well spoken. 2

Glad Mondo found a gig in pro-wrestling that didn't require him taking meaningless bumps off buildings. I know he stepped away from the business for the most part and was doing some low budget moving production, so this is a cool twist.

Every now and again I think about how there was a 2-3 year stretch where Fall Brawl and Wargames was held in Asheville every year, even as they were beating WWE. 1

Niners Fan in CT Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 If anyone else is going to the Boston show, I received an e-mail today urging me to either take public transportation or reserve a space in a nearby parking garage. They don't have enough spaces nearby for the attendance that is expected. Why? Because Boston is a fucking disaster and there's constant construction. Leave early and get there early.
Dragon Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 So it's looking like Cody wants longer matches and very less promos.
Infinit Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 I'm watching on my phone on the TSN app while watching The Leafs begin the march the Cup over some wings and beers. Hope everyone going to the show and watching wherever they are has a blast! Looking forward to picking it apart with y'all tomorrow

Dragon Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 631.000 viewers for the Countdown to Dynamite show.
Jiji Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 That seems really good, right? If people are expecting 800,000-1 million for the show that is.

Dave was saying TNT is expecting around that 800,000 number I think 631,000 is great for a countdown show. It's impossible to tell right now what the crossover is between audiences. Smackdown wasn't on last night as it's done with Tuesday. But also NXT did around a million both weeks without AEW competition.
Jiji Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 That is insane. It hasn't exactly been a slow news week. And no, TNT may not be aiming that high but a lot of wrestling people think that's where they'll be at. My body is so mother effing ready. 2
John from Cincinnati Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) I mean, I've got a long list of places to get my daily dose of Orange Julius Caesar. Meanwhile, this is a day a lot of wrestling fans have been drooling about for months. It's good, but it's not really that wild. Very excited though. Just watched another promo, and I wish they'd stop using the clip of Brandi saying she doesn't want a great match but rather one that's awesome. Out of context, how much sense does it really make? It's already time to get a better Brandi soundbite they can overuse. Edited October 2, 2019 by West Newbury Bad Boy
