Curt McGirt Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 The Kana Mania show also had this on the card among other things (like an intergender death match?). Fujiwara against MiSu means you watch.
Doragon Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Sumie Sakai vs. Emi Motokawa (IWA Japan 3/13/1998)

Gordi the BJW fan Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 (edited) Good Lord! Check out who the referee is here! Hat tip to Alan4L who reportedly tweeted about this, and to my friend Darren for sending me the link. Of all the people whom I'd never have imagined might have refereed a Kobashi match! Here comes the mon-neyyy! Also, it's Kobashi & Fuchi vs [redacted] and Tito Santana!! You know you wanna see Tito Santana selling for those guys. Edited March 29, 2021 by El Gran Gordi
Curt McGirt Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 (edited) The might just be the perfect representation of this thread's original purpose. WWF vs. AJPW? They weren't even partners! EDIT: That Summit was the card with Hogan vs. Hansen headlining. This is probably the second most known match from the show: Bret Hart vs. Tiger Mask might be the other one. The funny thing is NJPW only had two matches in which their own guys faced each other exclusively. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWF/AJPW/NJPW_Wrestling_Summit Edited March 29, 2021 by Curt McGirt

They weren't even partners! It was a WWF/All Japan/New Japan show, I can't remember the whole story but one of the reasons they all worked together was a response to the UWF's Dome show in November of 1989. 1
Zimbra Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Dan Severn vs Tajiri on a ring set up in the middle of a high school track in New Jersey This would have to be Tajiri's first trip to the US, I think. 2
Curt McGirt Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 If you're wondering why Tarzan Goto is lounging on a folding chair there, that was the setup for their match in the IWA Japan KOTDM tourney, IIRC
Doragon Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Dr Death vs Shinya 1989, 80's style finish but I like that stuff
Control Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 I didn’t realize that Rick Rude did a tour with All Japan. Here’s two matches where he teams with MVC: 1

Cobra Commander Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 not sure how many Spanish language commentary matches the WWE will upload, but if you ever wanted to watch Rock vs Hogan in Spanish, it's now on YouTube.
Pete Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 Ooh. Jay Youngblood working MSG like the world's greatest Chief Jay Strongbow makes this a watch. Brower is a load but Kamata is a peck of fun with his bumping and stooging for the young'uns. 1
Guest lounging Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Hayabusa spends the rest of his life in a wheelchair, but this guy is walking around just fine.
Ace Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 While I'm sure it's already in the thread somewhere, I've only seen this masterpiece for the first time tonight.
