Death From Above Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 http://www.sportsnet.ca/football/nfl/pouncey-wont-apologize-for-free-hernandez-hat/ Not totally sure this was a smart thing to do there.
Burgundy LaRue Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 To be fair, the apology the other Pouncey brother gave rang hollow. There is no "Free Hernandez" store, last I checked. It took planning to have those hats made. If they want to support their former teammate, that's fine. It's a free country. But at no point did one of them stop to think Hey, this may be a bad idea, with Aaron being cut and wiped from the NFL history books? Why make things hard for yourself on an issue where you can't win?
Ryan Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 If he's overwhelmingly convicted and it's obvious to everyone; then, they'll really come out looking bad. Also, this from USA Today's NFL Preview: 1
Cole Miner Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I wish more fools would wear those kind of hats. Lets you know to avoid them. I'm not a big fan of the idea of judging someone as a criminal thug because they wear a hoodie. But judging someone as a fool for wearing a Free Hernandez hat seems like a safe assumption. Rookies report tomorrow here. Not sure how long the blind optimism will last but it is a nice change after the last couple years.
glfpunk Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Well hopefully one of these corners works out. It couldn't get much worse than last season. I'd think it could get a a lot worse than narrowly losing the Super Bowl.
Niners Fan in CT Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I just meant that corner was a weak spot all year.
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I'd think it could get a a lot worse than narrowly losing the Super Bowl. - Signed Cowboys fans 3
muhammedboehm Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 So The Four Letter is reporting that players will have blood samples taken this year to set base line for HGH and no player will be suspended this year.
Burgundy LaRue Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Von Miller may want to stay away from Playboy bunnies in the future.
Raziel Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 In random fun, Shawn Merriman just wiped out on Obsticle 3 on the Qualifying Round of the American Ninja Warrior course this season.
just drew Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 As a Falcons fan, I fondly remember the days of being 3-13, with two of those wins being the Panthers. I never get tired of pummeling Scam Newton and the panties. Oh, and we have the ageless wonder Stephen Jackson. Your move, Scam.
Kuetsar Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 In random fun, Shawn Merriman just wiped out on Obsticle 3 on the Qualifying Round of the American Ninja Warrior course this season. Frankly I'm surprised he made it that far. . . .

Brian Fowler Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Sometimes I forget why I like you. Then you go and post something like that.
just drew Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Yeah, fsw, remember what I said last week about wanting to be your new protege? The circle is complete. Now I mus kill you in front of your tribe and assume my rightful place atop the mountain...
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Yeah, fsw, remember what I said last week about wanting to be your new protege? The circle is complete. Now I mus kill you in front of your tribe and assume my rightful place atop the mountain...I just took out Rev, I've feasted upon his wicked flesh and gnawed his impure bones. Now is the time to strike pal, while I am sated.
RIPPA Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Eric Wright failed his physical so the trade to the Niners is off So the Bucs just released him instead
Cole Miner Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I'm posting this for anyone like me that doesn't watch preshow or half times shows. It was mostly a waste of time when I use to watch them but I do miss the really interesting stories like this the rare times they run them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22SElPNVMPM
glfpunk Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I read the other day that the Packers could have had Steven Jackson last season having to only give up a 7th round pick but they chose not to because they didn't want to pay what he was owed on his contract. Still seems crazy as he would have been a big upgrade for them at the time. Also in great news for the Cowboys(sarcasm), Anthony Spencer has a bone bruise in his knee from something he did in his conditioning test and may need surgery. And their backup DE Crawford tore his achilles the first day of camp and is done for the year. Shaping up to be a great one.
jaedmc Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I'm starting to get that tingly feeeeeeling. Maybe it's because players are reporting to camp. Maybe it's because I'm excited about another shot at the DVDVR Fantasy Football crown. Or maybe it's this picture. 1
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 So the Bears have no cap space and a ton of contract year players including the heart and soul of the team, Jay Cutler. LOL.
jaedmc Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Hey, good luck to you guys in Detroit. Hope you all have a great season. But not that great! Harhar. Take it easy on us. #DetroitStrong 1
