EDIT:  Never mind I thought the Temple game was postponed

It looks like Florida is back to normal although Vandy gave them a little bit of a sweat

Nebraska screaming bloody murder to get football back and going 1-3 so far is very satisfying and very funny to me.

So, does this kill the Justin Fields Heisman campaign?

Things that still helps him is that the rest of the field in the beginning either got seriously hurt or has been impacted by COVID.  Has Trevor Lawrence did enough to excuse the 3 games he has missed and the 1 he still needs to play?

Rutgers gets a TD and a gutsy QB draw on last play of 4th for 2 to send them to OT against Michigan.  Man they might let Harbaugh in the state if they lose this one

"Triple overtime versus Rutgers" is the kind of summary I like seeing for Michigan football.

Nah, this is the one you need:

Sean McDonough, describing Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz before their game against Northwestern: "Mertz is 2-0 but against light competition."

His last game was against Michigan.

Also, Washington is trying to schedule BYU for this weekend but BYU is balking.  Why?  Because if they lose to Washington, they lose out on a potential NY6 bid; whereas they can ride out the rest of the season and get in without playing again if Cincinnati loses.

Now Dabo is demanding FSU treat Saturday's cancellation as a forfeit.

"We were there. We were ready. We met the standards to play," Swinney said. "In my opinion, they forfeited the game. That's $300,000 that's gone out the window. ... If the standard to play was zero positive tests, we never would've had a season."

Keep in mind, it was *CLEMSON* that had a guy test positive after practicing all week while symptomatic.

San Diego State/Fresno St is off as Fresno St is still a COVID hotbed.

So technically Washington has another option with San Diego State

For what its worth - this is from the ESPN Story

Quote

Washington reached out to BYU about playing a replacement game this week, but the eighth-ranked Cougars resisted, sources told ESPN.

According to sources, BYU was concerned about agreeing to a game with Washington and then having the Pac-12 instead pair Washington with another league opponent -- possibly Utah on Sunday if Arizona State can't play again this week. If a Pac-12 opponent becomes available by the end of the day Thursday in any given week, the conference game must be played in lieu of a nonconference game.

BYU wanted a stronger guarantee before it agreed to the game and began preparations.

Apropos of nothing, those Illini unis were gorgeous. What an awesome look and what a great looking game.

No kidding.  Just saying "My OC and I are both absolute morons" would have been much shorter and far more accurate.  Like, seriously, did he think that explanation made them look better?

Wisconsin/Minnesota has been cancelled due to Covid.

So that's it for Wisconsin's bowl hopes.

Yeah - their only hope was that the average # of games fell below 6 but considering that almost all teams are at 5 already - they are boned.

The only other Big Ten team that has only played 3 games is Maryland
