Matt D Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Second match for Tuesday is Jacky Corn vs Ted Lamarre. Corn is top notch and Lamarre hung on well enough. Speaking of hanging on: Nothing taken for granted here. Nothing given. Pure Wizardry: 2
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 And this ain't even the 30 minute draw from earlier that year where Momoe took insane kick after insane kick after even more insane kick after "why you ain't dead yet, little girl?" kick to the face. 5
Matt D Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Little cooperative, as Fuerza and Volador were on opposite sides, but super imaginative (from 93): 2
The Natural Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 NSFW: One of the wildest matches ever. A perfect blend of pro wrestling and mixed martial arts. *****
Matt D Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 True Kings of Lucha, December 1995: Rey Dr. Wagner, Jr. Rey Emilio Charles, Jr. Rey Negro Casas 2
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 I can forgive Baba for corpsing and exposing the business. 2

Often times both. That Sabu match is probably the greediest match I've ever seen. The story is he has Sabu beat clearly but just kept doing moves to show off and be rad. I was joking with friends that he must've been really pissed at Sabu for rolling after that piledriver because he needed to hit the tumbleweed... only to find out that yeah, he hit the tumbleweed later on. hahahahahaha.
Matt D Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 One way out of an armbar: Whatever Corn was trying to do here, he didn't quite get it: Whenever a new move pops up, I capture it. This is the first running power slam type move we've seen 2

I was waiting for someone else to post that because it's just too fucking bizarre. Anyway, since there was discussion about J.R.'s favorite wrestler Too Cold Scorpio Sky, I would be remiss not bringing back up the discussion of why I didn't like moonsault legdrops. Case in point, KAORU's Valkyrie Splash in the second part of this GIF: If you ever did this to me in a match, we are having a nice long discussion in the back afterwards.
