Raven just being alive is enough, probably. He went everywhere. His drug use was immense. Controversial as hell. As the ECW guy next season he'd do just fine.

When Raven first broke in and was just wrestling on the weekends, his 9-5 job was being a Male Stripper (and he claims he used to bang women from the audience). When he was in ECW, his 9-5 was DJing in a strip club, which is where he would recruit girls to be his ECW valets. Vice would LOVE that shit. You don't even need to get into his drug habits to make it a juicy Dark Side. Edited April 28 by AxB
Curt McGirt
Just hearing him talk is immensely entertaining. He's a crack-up on the Forever Hardcore doc. I don't listen to podcasts, but I'm sure his is fun. Speaking of which, I remember him saying he was a producer for Vince! I mean that's another notch there too. (He would call the office, say he's at the venue; call the venue and say he was at the office; and go back to sleep haha) Edited April 28 by Curt McGirt 1
HumanChessgame
I've never listened to his podcast, but Raven's shoot interviews were always incredibly entertaining. There are a bunch of them up on youtube and here's one with he and Sandman telling random stories 1

I can't believe how beautiful was, and how talented, because I haven't seen much really, so to have it end like that... And fuck Eric Bischoff forever. All the money in the world. No rehab, no surgery, no nothing. Right out on her ass. Fuuuuuuck YOU. Lol, she was going on live tv high or drunk. Why wouldn’t he fire her? Also, they covered Sherri’s firing in a minute or two at most. She was in WCW for a couple years, so I am assuming there’s plenty we don’t know. Maybe they tried to get her to go to rehab and she refused. Who know? I don’t. You probably don’t. We must have watched different shows, because my takeaway was that Sherri was an very gross person (stripper, basically gave away her child, longtime addictions to too many substances to list, apparently wasn’t too worried about hurting someone when she worked matches “in no condition to perform”). Eric is at fault if he honestly didn’t find out why she left WWE. I’m skeptical that’s true. If it is, he kinda deserved what he got out of her,
Log
I see where you're coming from with some of the other stuff, but being a stripper does not automatically make a person a "gross person". 8
Technico Support
Gross person! Fuck’s sake @The Old-Fashioned Gamer Stripper? Sex work is legitimate work and shouldn’t be stigmatized. This is probably the worst of your criticisms because it’s just hateful and indefensible. Left her child? Yes, this is horrible. But maybe consider trauma she grew up with that could have contributed to her suddenly up and leaving her family the way she did. I’d assume some level of mental illness was involved. Also, the only source for this story is her husband. We don't know the truth, just what he said. Anything could have happened in that relationship that caused her to walk out. Addict? Addiction is a disease. And “unsafe worker” dovetails with this. You don’t even know how many of your favorite, beloved male workers of the era went into the ring in various levels of fucked up. Do you like Curt Hennig? How about Scott Hall? Road Warriors? Anybody from the previous seasons of this dumb show? We're out here laughing about Sandman doing a match tripping on acid while clutching our pearls over Sherri. I’m not relieving Sherri Martel of personal responsibility here, just saying maybe consider all the circumstances and try being a human being instead of shitting on a dead person who clearly had a lot of problems. That could be any of us. Have some empathy. Edited April 30 by Technico Support

Technico Support
The idea of a wrestling fan disparaging stripping is hilarious. Both jobs exploit your body for a paycheck. Both have their roots in the carnivals. They're practically cousins. Shit, stripping might be more honorable. At least there's not a giant crowd of morons chanting YOU FUCKED UP if the stripper slips on the pole.

After one month on the job DJ'ing at The Bustop, I completely realized that Strip Clubs and wrestling were pretty much the same thing. We sold fantasy to marks, the dancers kept kayfabe by pretending they liked the customers, it was an athletic performance in little tight outfits, the real money was in selling booze/ merch, I did the intros and played the music, it goes on and on. Only thing is, if someone yelled "YOU FUCKED UP!" we'd most likely have " escorted " said " fan" out the door. 3 1
