quackhell Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 The Jimmy Havoc/Will Ospreay 2 out of 3 falls No DQ match from Chapter 75 was quite the spectacle for those who like that sort of thing. A bit too much for sure, but I like when a match plays so heavenly into history to tell a story. 2
Jiji Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Yeah, I want to check it out because I loved their last big garbage match in PROGRESS with Will's shit-arse Hitman cosplay and a grandfather clock. 1

RIPPA Posted September 21, 2018 Author Posted September 21, 2018 Basically PWG is booking luchadores more interestingly than CMLL 1
odessasteps Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Maybe they can book the Rush vs Park Hair Match. 3
CSC Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Full card for Smokey and the Bandido: PWG World Champion WALTER defending against Jeff Cobb PWG Tag Team Champions The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Dezmond Xavier) defending against LAX (Santana & Ortiz) Hechicero vs. Zack Sabre Jr. Rey Fenix vs. Bandido Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela Brody King vs. Timothy Thatcher Flamita vs. Rey Horus vs. Puma King Yes please. 3
Jiji Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 They may as well end the show after Fenix/Bandido because the fans will be so burned out after that. Allin vs. Janela is just enabling on Super Dragon's part. Puma being a regular of PWG more than makes up for their pushing Brody King.
bobholly138 Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Some friends are starting up a lucha libre fed based in Mississippi. First show is next year on May 4th. But with today being National Lucha Libre day they have released a short vid. 1
mattdangerously Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Janela vs Allin from the 2017 SCI was a blast. Bring on the rematch. 1

This was a notch above their first WarGames match years ago, but still... I don't want to be overly critical, so I'll just leave it at that. Best part was Schiavone saying they're DESPERATELY OUT OF TIME!! at the end. That got a huge pop out of me. 2
hammerva Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Good to see them try other states and Wrestlemania weekend is the perfect place to start I know this isn't a surprise to nobody but go out of your way to 2 Cold Scorpio vs Arik Royal. No idea you would have how old he is the way he handles the top rope. And Royal is just having an incredible 2018 everywhere . If you like wild plunder matches the Hooligans vs Ugly Ducklings in a ducks (yes rubber ducks), ladders, and chair match Also hoping the Jordynne Grace wasn't seriously injured in the main event against Tracy Williams. And heard that Joey Janela might have hurt really bad at tonight's GCW show
Jiji Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Yeah that was gross. And for all the crazy spots he does, it was a simple plancha that did him in.
Tim Evans Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Went to a local indie last night. It was run by a Puerto Rican magazine so it had a lot of Puerto Rican talent like savio Vega, thunder and lightning and others. Fenix was there and the main was Pentagon vs mil muertes. Never seen mil before live but he was jacked. Fun show that took place at a livestock pavilion. Right up there with the all womens show I saw at a baseball practice complex a few weeks ago. 1
Guest Edwin Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Opposite WWN is only running Thursday and Friday at La Boom.

mattdangerously Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Anyone know if MLW pays for their cable slot? If they do, they're doomed. If not, they could potentially be a big time player. (I mean, they're not going to run Vince out of business, but they could inconvenience them in a lot of ways. They can definitely cause some problems for ROH. They've already arguably got a deeper roster.)
Nice Guy Eddie Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 I don't know how many of you have seen this. I found it while watching the latest MLW episode on Youtube. I recommend checking out that episode. The main event is PCO vs. Brody King. Without further ado:
Spritenaut 32 Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 If you told me that Pierre Carl Ouelett would become one of the biggest names on the indy circuit in 2018, i would have called you names. His comeback is really remarkable. 3
Nice Guy Eddie Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 I know it's partially kayfabe, but I'm looking forward to seeing where places in next year's PWI Top 500. He's gotta be in the top 100.
