Take this for what it is worth (so you know what that means)

Jeff Jarrett contacted Vince Russo about returning (per Vince Russo)

...because of course he did

I've never wanted this promotion to die as much as I do now. Can we get the Harris Brothers involved again? That's what this company needs. Nazis! At least, the 2017 AWE Impact Dumpster Fire Thread will be entertaining.

Not surprisingly - Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that while working on the UK deal, Jarrett has been asking Spike about returning to the network in the US too.

I am sure POP will be thrilled about that

if a return to Spike is possible, I'd love for them to make Xplosion into a legit 2nd show and keep it on POP. Make it half decent and it'll still draw those 300k viewers

Thats what a competent promotion would do.

Spike TV spokesman David Schwarz told Brian Fritz of BetweenTheRopes.com that the network is not negotiating a television deal with TNA Impact Wrestling despite a report to the contrary. “Spike TV officials confirm that Scott Fishman was there for personal reasons — and is not negotiating any deals,” Schwarz stated.

Hmm. What personal reasons would a network exec have to be at a wrestling show taping? Apparently this wasn't the first time Fishman was there in recent months. Combine that with them doing business in the UK and it doesn't add up.

This sounds like Jarrett possibly trying to save face with POP.

Okay, so AWE Impact has replaced IWA MS.as the king of total bullshit speculation.

Also based on tweets last night - they are bringing Crimson back

(It looks like they did some sort of sit-down interview with him that wasn't part of the tapings)

Moose tweeted that he is available for bookings for the entire year so folks naturally started speculating that meant he was done with TNA.

Meltzer that he is being told that he isn't gone

These spoilers look like PWS/GFW presents One Night Only featuring the stars of Impact Wrestling.  They needed like 5 new guys over the next few weeks not 30 at once.

Every time there's a creative change at TNA they make a big deal out of it and explain how things have been bad but now they're going to get better.  They say this to the current audience which just insults them by saying that they've been watching something bad so that audience pretty much leaves and TNA has to rebuild an entirely new audience.  These people have been in this business for decades and should know better but they just never learn.

Since they're making Dixie Carter out to be history's greatest villain and probably turning EC3 they should've made some kind of angle out of dropping the TNA name.  Too late now.

And instead of Bruce Prichard and Karen Jarrett, they need an authority figure with some credibility with the people.  Put some feathers on Vanguard-One and call him The Anthem Owl.  Whenever they need an authority figure announcement, have some models dance him out onto the stage and put him on a platform and then he delivers his message via "hologram" projected onto the big screen.  Would be credible AF.

The ironic part is that over the last year, the booking has been really good right up until the end of 2016. Probably the best stretch they've ever had. And JJ is shitting on it because it wasn't him.

Regwrding owl, they're running an online contest to name him. So I may have not been far off.

Might as well call the owl Rush since the Anthem logo is the Fly by Night album cover.
