Wrestling fans, name the Female Owl.

Have marketing execs not learned about this shit yet?

How...HOW...H O W did TNA, Impact, whatever the fuck go through so much turmoil, look like they were about to close up shop, pull through at the last minute, and yet somehow wind up being in an even worse position creatively and well just in an all around worse position? This company defies all manner of logic and reason. They're this anomaly, like Neo in the Matrix, except far shittier, like if Neo never learned to be a hero and instead were Rickety Cricket from It's Always Sunny.

History suggests that the winner will be Owly McOwlface, But given that this time it's Wrestling fans, I expect so much less.

If you look through the timeline - this was suggested (in some form) multiple times

They're definitely in a worse position creatively than they were during the last year but its hard to say they're in a worst position overall. They're on stable financial footing with Anthem, are supposedly going back to live events, are back on TV in the UK and could potentially be back on Spike in the US.

Here's the video open for tonight-- pretty cool package but yes, it is amazing to think about all of the talent they've gone through. To have that many names on your roster at a time and not parlay that into financial success is surreal.

BTW - this reminds that Meltzer had a throw away comment in the newest WON

The Nazis are no longer doing production for the company.

I guess no one noticed that they had been bought out too when Anthem finally gained control of the company

Could've had gold with a wedding segment involving Vanguard One and Ms. Gimmick Owlfringement but nooooo, they had to try to mess with the Hardys' indie paychecks.

It will likely be announced shortly that Anthem Entertainment and ITV have reached a deal. This was the deal Jeff Jarrett was working on as ITV wants a wrestling show for the U.K. but doesn't want to run a wrestling promotion. So the two companies will be partnering in some form on a promotion.

F'n Jarrett running circles around Triple H lol.

Assuming this pretty much means Jarrett gets to run WOS, air on it on ITV in the UK and on Fight Network in the US, with Anthem buying a stake.

Could be really interesting.

If they name it Dixie we know Russo is back.

All these new tv deals happening in a post Dixie Carter era show how bad she was for the company and how valuable a US time slot is when you have anyone but Dixie Carter in charge of those deals.

Is it the goal of professional wrestling to make me watch most of their product with the mute button?  Do it half the time with RAW and man it is almost a requirement until they finish this Josh Matthews vs Jeremy Borash feud.  I mean this Michael Cole NXT level horrible
