Anyone who did not mark during Finn Balor's Celtic Mythology promo is an illiterate asshole that needs to go to a fucking library and do something other than surf porn in the computer lab.  Finn's face paint and Juggalo headpiece gimmick did not deserve that epic level of foreshadowing.

Also mad love for the Club's ringpostitist clip.  Bad puns not withstanding, they actually had Luke Gallows speaking in complete and coherent sentences.  The only thing that disturbed me was the vid of Big E getting nad posted.  I can believe that was a legit injury even though it's being sold as a work.

The matches felt more like filler than the promos did.  The ladies match was great but it didn't really add value to the feud.

Being Irish as fuck, my blood ran cold during that promo... Damn, I do love me some Finn Balor. Dude knows his folklore, I can't imagine anyone on the WWE staff looking that stuff up and getting it right. "You have a giant called the Big Show? Our giant was named Fionn MacCumhall (Finn MacCool) and he tore off a chunk of Ireland to make the Isle of Man, now that's a fuckin' giant!" Okay, he didn't say that, but he could have...

I will say that I never really bought in to Finn Balor in NXT. Thought he came in very overrated and never really lived up to the hype. However, being on RAW now for three weeks, they have really made him come off as a huge deal. I feel like the build up to the beginning of his music/entrance makes him seem like a big star. Him obviously getting those two big wins in his debut and immediately being put in to the main event at The SummerSlam doesn't hurt. And then that video package last night explaining his namesake and background and the Demon did way more for his character than him playing with Legos ever did. If they keep up this version of Finn, he will definitely be the star everybody has said he would be and that I never saw in NXT. Intersted to see his Demon Entrance at SummerSlam, and I hope that the Agents behind the scenes have talked to him about actually showing an in-ring difference between wrestling as plain old Finn Balor and as Demon Balor.

Your last line is huge and it's the one piece of the puzzle missing. "Demon Finn" has to do something to differentiate the persona from "Human Finn", be it a different finisher, (or as I'd prefer), a more brutal style throughout the match; there has to be something that sets the two apart. The fans need to know that when "Human Finn" comes out that they will be seeing a damn fine wrestler. When "Demon Finn" comes out they will be seeing nothing but mayhem.

We're usually on the same page, but I'm not convinced that silly skits is where you want the Club. I felt it hurt their image as no-nonsense ass-kickers.

Well the last time Drew Hankinson was in a WWE ring, he was Festus the backwoods retard wrestling savant.  I like Dr. Luke Gallows being able to read and write and speak with clarity.  The skit itself was somewhat dry but at least it didn't present The Club as mindless idiots.

Actually, he was Luke Gallows, recovering drug addict and CM Punk crony.

The rest of your point about not presenting The Club as mindless idiots still stands.

Don't confuse JT with the facts!

I'm pretty sure I'd whip your ass on any given Buffalo Wild Wings trivia night.

I'm rock solid when it comes to facts.   Recalling them in the proper order??  That's more of an oatmeal consistency..

When Doc Gallows deadpanned the line "It was nuts" it cracked me up so much that I missed the next two testicle puns. Dick jokes still have a place in wrestling in 2016 damn it!

But speaking of Attitude Era bullshit: Mark me down as some one who got sort of uncomfortable with Enzo's implied homophobic remarks. Hopefully they also keep Sasha away from Enzo, because talented female wrestler reduced to arm candy is also attitude era bullshit that needs to stay in the 90s with homophobia.

But the dick jokes are welcome.

The Straight Edge Society was awesome and would've been even more awesome had WWE not cut its balls off immediately (and Serena being stupid didn't help)

Can you blame her?

Being straight edge is the one gimmick few workers are willing to take home with them.

I am surprised Regal has not talked to him yet about switching up movesets when he is wrestling as the Demon.

The more I think about the Serena Deeb thing, the more I call bullshit.

It's like getting rid of Val Venis for announcing his celibacy or firing Kevin Sullivan for becoming a born-again Christian.

Sorry, Bálor's going to have to make a number of references to British literature from the Victorian era before I mark out for his promos.

If he says next week that he's put down more people than the conditions at Lowood, then I'll be totally on board.

It's nothing like that, because those hypothetical behavior changes weren't embarrassing for a publicly traded company. She consistently got too drunk at public appearances and company events. No matter what you think about the role kayfabe played in to it, many people at many jobs have been fired/asked to leave/not renewed/passed over for similar things at non wrestling companies.

I'm probably the last one here, but I actually enjoy Rollins being a corny prick who just doesn't get it with the "amirite!" stuff and the jokes that make you want to kick him in the shins. It works because it really does get under your skin. I see what everyone is complaining about, but I think it's the entire point of the gimmick, not a failure of Rollins to pull off what he's trying to do. And with that nasally voice of his, it works perfectly. The character is grating, but not Stephanie grating. Again, I don't think that's the general perception around here, but I do think it's the general perception.

The crowd has also been begging to cheer for him for some time, so this is really the only way he stays heel. Which I don't mind at all.

The whole reason I thought Rollins was going to be the most natural heel out of The Shield is because his nasally voice reminded me of the "Put him in a body bag!" toadie from Karate Kid.

When he points to the Mania sign he should say "Let mine Bildungsroman begin!"

Definitely agree with this. It was bad enough last week to have their strongest woman being "saved" by their weakest man. Between the last two weeks of Enzo/Sasha and Lana repeatedly saying "Rusev is the only man who can have me" for heel heat, WWE is exposing they still have no one who is remotely in touch with writing female characters.

How great has Jericho been lately?  He's developed like 5 new funny things just this year for his heel persona.

Quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet

Stupid Idiot

Making up fake names of people he's wrestled.

You're going to get....IT!  You better watch IT!

He's even bringing back the COME ON BAYBAY, flex pin

He is without a doubt one of the best entertainers of all time on the mic, and he can still hang with anyone in-ring after 20+ years in the biz.  He even carried a Klutz like Enzo through a watchable singles match!

Witness the gift of Jericho.  Drink it in Maaaaaaaaaaannnnnnn
