Dolfan in NYC
Phil, I think you're awesome. But for this week, I hope your team is thrown into a furnace.

Gonzo
Minnesota's going to absorb a Grade-A ass kicking on Thursday night. Going to be fun spending four quarters in "please, dear God, don't let anyone of any importance get injured" mode.
JLSigman
Panthers have the Falcons at home, and I wish Riverboat Ron would be more willing to rest some starts come third and fourth quarters.
RIPPA
It would be swell if the Panthers rested starters next week BTW - the Cowboys, who are the worst team in the NFC (based on the normal tiebreakers, etc...) are only one game out of the playoffs
RIPPA
And here is the Top 10 draft order right now 1. Cleveland Browns (2-10) - .531 2. Tennessee Titans (3-9) - .495 3. San Diego Chargers (3-9) - .526 4. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-8) - .484 5. Baltimore Ravens (4-8) - .505 6. New Orleans Saints (4-8) - .521 7. San Francisco 49ers (4-8) - .526 8. Dallas Cowboys (4-8) - .526 9. Detroit Lions (4-8) - .526 10. St. Louis Rams (4-8) - .526 Whole lotta coin flips would have to happen right now (basically 7-10)
Kevin Wilson
The only good thing about the NFC East being shitty, is the next three Bills opponents are from the NFC East (not sure why they are all back to back). If they don't win at least two of the three I am going to be disappoint. Not completely surprised, but still disappoint. That game last night was one of the worst I've sat and watched in years.
RIPPA
Teams often play whole divisions in a row... it is just usually at the beginning of the season For example - the Falcons had finished with the NFC East by Week 5 (their first 3 games we against the East) Or the Raiders opened with 3 straight games against the AFC North I do think the NFL tries to minimize long travel later in the season so the Bills being East Coast and playing the East probably factored into it (Of course I say that and I see that Miami has to go to San Diego next week so who the fuck knows)

DMN
If the Raiders can somehow pull 8-8 out of this season, I'll be happy. It'll take a win over either Denver or Green Bay, but it's not completely beyond the pale. They've really only gotten their heads kicked in in two games, the opener against Cincy and then against the Vikings. Derek Carr has, for the most part, been a revelation, with stats on par with Aaron Rodgers, the KC game not with-standing. A win against Denver would make this a good year. Crabtree has been playing great, it's good that Carr will have two solid targets to throw to in the next few years, and he'll come off the books right when Cooper will be up for his first big contract. Honestly, I am OK with 6-10 since the disasters on defense needs to be a point of concern going into the offseason. I'd take 8-8 but to me they feel like a 4-12 team that got lucky with a couple of wins they shouldn't have. And of course, the only "good" team they've beat has been the Jets, so the record really is misleading to me. But shit, after 2-14, 4-12 every damn year, 6-10 feels like winning the Super Bowl. Plus, ya know, at 6-10 they can still get a decent draft pick to get some help on defense.
