Curt McGirt Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I hope this isn't a stake through the heart of China, IL. That's one of my favorite things on Adult Swim. 1
Vincey Greene Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Confirmed groups of people Hulk Hogan hates: 1. 8 foot tall black guys 2. Big Stinky Giants 3. Vanilla Midgets 4. Russians Any others? Samoans playing Japanese?
MADCAP Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 OMG...a 60-year old Italian guy from Florida, doesn't want his daughter banging black guys so he resorts to calling them slurs? Sounds like my high school years all over again... ALSO THIS: THE CLUES HAVE BEEN THERE ALL ALONG!!! 3
PuroresuFan Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Looks like I owe Bobby Heenan an apology. He was right all along. 3
El Ken Erico Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 We owe Heenan an apology that there is no real cure for cancer. 9
JRGoldman Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 If only the Hulkster was a mediocre WR on the Eagles, he'd have to go to sensitivity training for a couple of weeks and miss some preseason games. I'm only making this mediocre joke because I was all set to make the same joke as Pete but he beat me to the punch. I made it on twitter this morning and everyone no sold it. 1
Brysynner Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Has Michael Hayes ever been recorded saying racist stuff?? When you google WWE and racism, Hayes/Henry and Alberto Del Rio are two of the top non-Hogan things that come up. I imagine lots of outlets are going to be digging into this further. I feel like we say this a lot and it never happens, plus I have a feeling the media doesn't want to shine too much of a light on this in case things get reflected back to them. The reason there can be such a shitshow about this and no one's going to dig further is because it's just a wrestling company. It is enjoyed by about 3 million people (on a good Monday night) and is looked down on as low brow entertainment for stupid people. So the people who generally flip their shit on stuff like this won't because they expect it and figure only a small amount of people actually watch it.
The Great ML Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Has Michael Hayes ever been recorded saying racist stuff?? The law of averages indicates he'd have to have been at some point by now. I recall an early 1983 Terry Gordy promo from WCCW with the Birds: (Re: Iceman) "He not a bad boy, for a boy." Hayes said, "Yeah I'll go along with that!"
Ramsey Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 First Michael Bay ruins the Transformers, now, this! My childhood...my broken burning childhood...
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 First Michael Bay ruins the Transformers, now, this! My childhood...my broken burning childhood... At least JJ Abrams is going to save Star Wars for us all.....right?.......right? Please tell me I'm right????? 2

Dog Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 What a day to run out of likes. I tried to like this post only to find out that I, as well, had run out of likes. This is what Hogan has done to us.

Sure but the fact that's connected to Hogan makes it an easier story to sell to the masses.
Kuetsar Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I think WWE would have tried harder to bury this and keep him, if he had anything left in the tank. Why go through public hell for a nostalgia act? Not defending him at all, fuck him, but if its a younger Hogan, the spin cycle comes out first. . . .
JCM Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 First Michael Bay ruins the Transformers, now, this! My childhood...my broken burning childhood... Nothing got me quite like the atrocious G.I movies of the last few years.
Cobra Commander Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Has Michael Hayes ever been recorded saying racist stuff?? I get the sense that Hayes hangs out in places where bikers would kick the shit out of you for trying to record somebody
Ramsey Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 First Michael Bay ruins the Transformers, now, this! My childhood...my broken burning childhood... Nothing got me quite like the atrocious G.I Joe reboot. That one....that one hurt me. The wound run far too deep to even mention here. Snake Eyes...his mask had lips...THE HORROR! Oh, and fuck Hogan.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Is it irony that Hogan tried to sue Gawker for disparaging his name, and it ends up disparaging his name even further?

They definitely would have done more if this were 1986 Hulk Hogan. I don't think anybody is really giving Vince or WWE any credit for shit.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Hopefully this leads to Michael Hayes showing up in court in a bright orange zoot suit to testify on Hogan's behalf. 10
RIPPA Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Booker T. Huffman @BookerT5x 3m3 minutes ago 20 years ago I made a huge mistake by saying something I shouldn't have on National TV.
Cobra Commander Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Hopefully this leads to Michael Hayes showing up in court in a bright orange zoot suit to testify on Hogan's behalf. Has anybody checked in with Dennis Rodman to see about his state of mind?
MADCAP Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Booker T. Huffman @BookerT5x 3m3 minutes ago 20 years ago I made a huge mistake by saying something I shouldn't have on National TV. And 20 years later, Booker finally got him. 12

Sure but the fact that's connected to Hogan makes it an easier story to sell to the masses. The only problem is Hulk was not working for WWE at the time these comments were made. Also when WWE had an active wrestler who was going to win a title on pay-per-view who instead kills his wife, son and then himself and nothing really came of that media wise. Yeah Chris Benoit is nowhere near the name Hulk Hogan is but the implications for Benoit were wayyyyy worse for WWE and Vince than this audio is. WWE and Vince will be fine. Besides most of the reaction is that of course a 60+ year old man who's lives in Florida is racist. It's not a big surprise to the masses.
