Jiji Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Markstrom with that .250 SV%. Hmm. Who's the backup in Utica?
Death From Above Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I really hope the Panthers don't miss the playoffs by one point after that. Surely not even Random Number God can be that cruel.
caley Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I am not joking when I say that the Sabres have probably been on national TV more times this season than any other NHL teams. That has to be a violation of the Geneva Convention right? I read somewhere that, even in their current state, the Sabres are a huge ratings draw on national TV. I can't remember where, though.
Dolfan in NYC Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 This is such a shitshow at the Panthers game. I want to see Robbie Tallas play God dammit Luongo is back in. Strangest damn thing I've seen in a long time. Toronto Maple Leafs @MapleLeafs 11h11 hours ago .@FlaPanthers ?
odessasteps Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Espn offically announced as World Cup of Hockey briadcaster in the US

That is correct. We are machosists whose suffering is being inflicted upon the entire nation because so many of us tune in to the games.
elizium Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 This is not the time for the Jets to be losing games where they've outshot their opponents by 15.
Death From Above Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 The Oilers are totally going to trade for the Hamburgler in the offseason because Oilers.
mco543 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Kulikov got a Gordie Howe hat trick and Dan Ellis played competently. Two things you're not likely to see again this season, or ever for that matter. All I wanted for tonight was a point but with the lead in the 3rd it's a damn shame they couldn't get 2.
elizium Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Byfuglien out for a few weeks and now Bryan Little is going to miss a couple games. This season has been simultaneously awesome and a nightmare.
elizium Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 ....and Mark Stuart leaves practice after getting hit in the face with a puck, because of course. And the Wild and Flames keep. fucking. winning.
Death From Above Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Detroit you had one job. The Edmonton/Chicago game was probably the most entertaining Oilers game of the year. Shots were 42-37 Edmonton after regulation yet Crawford and Scrivens were both great and it was 1-1. Absolutely open hockey. Not even mad we lost in a shootout because who cares.
Tabe Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Detroit's effort against Calgary was not great. They continued the bad defense from the Rangers game and mixed in some bad goaltending. Cole had two points and looked good though.
Jiji Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Marleau just missed an open net from 3 feet out. Way harder to miss than score, yet he put it wide, far side. More like... Marlol.
sabremike Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 One step closer to McEichel baby! And the Laffs are officially the Knicks of hockey. Hey, there's a great trade that should be made this offseason: Kessel for Melo straight up!

odessasteps Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Calgary with the big babyface comeback vs ottawa, scoring 4 goals in the thirdto tie it up,
Death From Above Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Bob Hartley is a great coach, when his team has been obviously outplayed and is behind going into the third period. They'll probably give him coach of the year, it's no sillier than giving it to Roy.
elizium Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Calgary with the big babyface comeback vs ottawa, scoring 4 goals in the thirdto tie it up, You have an odd definition of "babyface". That word can never, ever apply to the fucking Calgary Flames. 3

That word can never, ever apply to the fucking Calgary Flames. Boooo! Where's the "dislike this" button? I don't know how anyone could not like the Flames this season. They really are the ultimate underdog babyface team. Edit: Having said that, I completely understand the sentiment when it comes to other Canadian teams. I don't think I could bring myself to cheer for the Canucks, Jets, or Leafs, no matter how objectively good or entertaining they were. (I do like the Jets in theory -- as in, I'm glad Winnipeg has a team again -- but that's as far as it goes.) I've softened a bit on the Oilers over the years, but I think that's because they've become so pitiable that it's hard to actively dislike them. If they ever become a decent hockey team again, I suspect the old feelings will return. I don't mind Montreal, though! If I was old enough to remember much of the late 80s/early 90s, I'd probably feel different. And Ottawa is just kind of there.
Bear Wyatt Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Carey Price was a brick wall tonight against the Bolts. The Lightning dominated the game and Price only gave up one goal, in overtime no less. Still, that's 2 points for the good guys!
