RIPPA
Well that is why the flooding helps in Recife since all the guys covering the game are saying that the odds of a 0-0 draw for US/Germany are through the roof now because the conditions are so bad
RIPPA
There are also these reports The Ghana FA has confirmed that midfielders Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince-Boateng have been sent home before the vital Portugal match for two separate incidents. Muntari is said to have slapped Ghana management committee member Moses Armah Parker. The FA released a statement yesterday that read: The decision was taken in the wake of his unprovoked physical attack on an Executive Committee member of the GFA and a management member of the Black Stars, Mr. Moses Armah on Tuesday 24th June, 2014 during a meeting. Muntari's accreditation for the 2014 World Cup has been withdrawn with immediate effect. Ghana Sports Online has even more details about the incident, saying that Marmah was slapped and "even chased with with broken bottles at the hotel over disagreements with appearance fees and other bonuses owed the players," Umm.... RIPPA
There is no chance they don't play. The flooding is being caused because there is no drainage at all for the city but of course they put plenty of drainage at the brand new shiny stadium

Cristobal
If my math is right, 9 matches means that unless Uruguay reach the semis of the WC AND the Copa (and the subsequent final/3rd place games), he's out for the whole of both tournaments. If they crash out earlier, his international ban could go on through and even past the 2016 Copa.
Ultimo The Great
won't be able to play again until Liverpool visit Newcastle on November 1stFIFA have balls. shocked EDIT: Suarez has now been banned for 34 games since 2010 without receiving a red card

Dewar
FIFA gave Suarez more than I thought they would. Think he deserves a 12 month ban, but 4 months is pretty big.
Ultimo The Great
I see Germany winning, i just don't see Ghana or Portugal winning. hope i'm wrong. Sorry but Ghana/Portugal vs Belgium seems a far better match than Usa Vs Belgium.
