Joe Lucia
Also, Brad Ausmus was asked what he does to cope after a loss. He responded "by beating my wife" so that's going well for the Tigers too...

I know he's kidding and all but I'd be tempted to fire a guy for that.
Josh Mann
He should just beat up Verlander. Everyone else is.
Ryan
Hell of a game from Kershaw last night. If it wasn't for an error from the short stop(I don't know what the situation behind it was) it would have been the most SO ever in a perfect game, but ends up only as a no hitter. Joe Lucia
Second-best game score in the last 100 years, behind just Kerry Wood's 20 K game.
Ryan
Which is unfair because he allowed a hit~!
Joe Lucia
(and struck out five more hitters) My favorite part about Kershaw's game - he only threw 107 pitches, which doesn't seem fathomable. 79 of those were strikes. Of his 28 balls, 13 game in the final six innings. HOW IN THE HELL?

Greggulator
There might not be anything cooler in sports than a pitcher with a wicked slow curveball. Kershaw's last night was absolutely ungodly.
Tabe
Which is unfair because he allowed a hit~! Can't seem to find a video of it but I seem to recall some thinking it shoulda been an error. Wood also beaned a guy. And I think didn't allow a single ball out of the infield.

Joe Lucia
San Diego is such a mess of a franchise. All they really have is a gorgeous ballpark, Andrew Cashner, and uh....I dunno, a top ten or so farm that's heavy on raw talent. Not sure what exactly their ownership expected. BrianS81177
Pretty much. Bet they regret not trading Headley last year when he actually had some value. They'd be lucky to get a busted pitching machine for him now.
