Dolfan in NYC
Like Candyman, every time I hear her name, I keep looking over my shoulder to make sure SS hasn't appeared to kill me. ***EXTREMELY*** short version. She accused CRZ of raping someone. She had no evidence of this other than "I pulled this out of my ass" and (COMPLETELY my opinion) it had to do a lot with her depression issues about being a trans woman and becoming extremely aggressive/idiotic because of it. I hate that I remember any of this.
LooseCannon
While looking to verify some of the stuff mentioned, Google led me to this thread. Can anyone verify or shed light on the following claim: Actually Rantsylvania was what Shannon owned and later gave ownership to Scott Keith along with a large number of bills that totalled (according to both Hyatte and Don Becker) somewhere between $300 to $1000. Making things even more controversial was that SK got the unpaid bills on the same day his apartment burned down, which made Sean's actions even more imfamous given how the fire just about wiped SK out financially. As for the domain thing, after Shannon left Keith hired Greg Dillard and Jeremy Botter (who's website went under when they pissed off their writers to the point that they left the two) to replace Shannon and to relaunch the site under the name "The Smarks". It's not been revealed as to what triggered what happened next (be it Chris Hyatte being brought onto the site as a contributor to Greg Dillard's online radio program "The Edge", Don Becker denouncing Shannon on the website and publicly ending their friendship, or the rumors floating around that SK was relaunching the site in order to purge all traces of Shannon from the website) but Sean hijacked the site to direct it to his website and later a link to an article about Rape not being something to joke about, forcing SK to relaunch the site earlier than they wanted to. Also, this list may jog some memories about some internet dirtsheetz wannabes.
Craig H
Ho-lee shit. First. Sean Shannon has issues. Second, it's been at least a decade or more since I saw the name Don Becker. Completely forgot about him until now. I remember having a conversation with him on how cleanly or not Jericho went over the Rock.

DEAN
Man, I'm trying to remember the big argument I got into with Sean Shannon. She had some imagined slight against her that I had somehow said about her and we had this entire fucked- up discussion where I was eventually basically yelling, "I don't truly don't give a shit about (whatever it was- possibly about Bret Hart?) and have nothing against you!" over and over again. It was a lot like the argument I had with Jeremy Soria and my desire to not fuck Albrecht- and his hatred for me because of that.

EdA
BTW - who was/is Eric S and why did he apparently have a blood feud with Dean? Vaguely recall him from 411(?). He recapped RAW with these long-winded, overwritten pieces that I doubt anyone really read all the way through. He also had this strange cartoon fetish - mostly Bugs Bunny stuff - that...yeah. I seem to recall he had some meltdown after 9/11 but I do not recall the particulars. What his beef was with Dean, I have no clue

EdA
eric szulczewski, he wrote for 411/InsidePulse, and was a *slightly* more mature version of Hyatte. Last I saw of him he was the "spokesperson" for the Chicago branch of Anonymous, thus killing the entire gimmick. Sigh. Google gives us everything but what we need. Here is an interview with Eric S. In October 2001, I was fired from The Smarks for saying certain things that people didn't appreciate about September 11th, specifically about the fact that I was happy that ultra-right-wing columnist Barbara Olsen was killed in the attack on the Pentagon (my readers now know this incident as "l'affaire Babs"). Well, a few months prior to this, The Smarks was about to go down due to an increase in server costs, and the infamous Chris Hyatte had recommended to Jonathan Widro, the head of 411, that 411 pick me up when The Smarks went down. At the time, I told Widro that I was happy to be at The Smarks, but I wouldn't say no if something happened there. Within a couple hours of me being fired, Widro wrote me again and reiterated his offer, and I said yes. I took a few weeks off of writing, then came to 411. When Widro decided to break from 411 and form Inside Pulse, I moved over there. Looks like he wrote for Inside Pulse - whatever that was - until about 08. Then yeah, as Mike says, he became the spokesperson for Anonymous and has a vendetta against Scientology.
Bustronaut
InsidePulse is what happened when Widro broke off from ashish and tried to go more mainstream. I think they're both still around. I wrote an action figure column for both. IP's comics section was good enough that a couple people went to Wizard before it folded.

Sean said CRZ found it and used it for BLACKMAIL.
Bix
Man how in the fuck is that guy paid to be a wrestling expert? It would be like a Film critic who has never seen Jaws or Casablanca, or a music writer who never heard the Ramones or Bach, why would anyone take anything he says seriously? I don't think anyone does. I'm a subscriber strictly for the Observer. If Bryan is actually good on the air, that's just a bonus. I'd have to think if you took a poll on who actually reads Figure Four Weekly, it would be less than 20% of the subscribers. F4W has gotten better recently since Alvarez barely writes it nowadays. Bix seems to have taken over the bulk of it. Wait, Bix now writes bulk of the F4? When and how did this happen? Basically what everyone else said: Past two months. Lead/feature, American wrestling, and MMA because Bryan is concentrating on audio but wants to rehab the newsletter. Alan does Japan, Dr. Lucha does...Lucha, and Vinny still does his TV reviews.
