Houston (who has lost 10 in a row) is favored by 2 1/2 at Jacksonville (winners of 3 of 4).

I never thought I'd think that Jacksonville should be favored in a game this season... but... here we are.

Yeah, who would have thought at the beginning of the season, that the Jags would even have a remote chance at the Texans. How the mighty has fallen.

Caleb Hanie has signed with the Browns, leaving him and Alex "Trick Shot" Tanney are the only healthy QBs on their roster at the moment.  Of course, that could change if Weeden and/or Campbell pass their concussion tests.

LOL.  If there was ever a way to make Cleveland fans appreciate Brandon Weeden.

"After his latest start, Hanie's thrown 102 passes and completed 51 of them, for a completion percentage at an even 50 percent. He's thrown nine interceptions, producing an interception rate of 8.8 percent. Nobody has thrown interceptions that frequently over 100 or more pass attempts in 23 years! Steve Grogan narrowly beat it out in 1988. After you adjust for the era Hanie plays in, pro-football-reference.com suggests that Hanie's been worse at avoiding picks than anybody in NFL history since the merger. Hanie's also been sacked on a whopping 14.5 percent of his dropbacks. PFR suggests that only three players since the merger, after adjusting for era, have gone down more frequently. Bottom line: Caleb Hanie might be the worst quarterback to throw 100 passes since the AFL merged with the NFL."  -Barnwell

Schefter's saying Mike Tomlin will be fined $100,000 for being an asshole.

Also for being on the field deliberately during game play.

Draft pick penalty is undecided yet but possible.

If it was Jim Schwartz it'd be three games, 3 million dollars and 3 draft picks. Shithouse Steelers get away with murder.

Although Schwartz not coaching for three games is likely a blessing.

Hey we agree completely on something; uh oh that means the end is near right? :) seriously though, if the Steelers are the "classy"  organization everyone says, they would suspend him themselves. . .

Per AP

London is getting its first NFL day game, creating a new morning time slot for viewers in the United States.

The NFL said Wednesday that the game between the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 26, 2014, will start at 1:30 p.m. local time, making it a 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff in the U.S.

The league said the switch will make it easier for a global audience to tune in and also create an unprecedented fourth game window for American viewers that day.

The Wembley games have traditionally started at the same time as the 1 p.m. kickoffs in the U.S. The other two London games scheduled for next season -- Dolphins-Raiders on Sept. 28 and Cowboys-Jaguars on Nov. 9 -- will both start at 6 p.m. local time.

I think Roger Goodell would retire to his office and weep. Who will do those obnoxious State Farm commercials now? Cutler? Eli? NO!

He's already been replaced by the superior talent of George Wendt.
