Anything is possible after WWF officials flew out to Arizona to meet with Warrior and he talked about Destrucity, and they STILL signed him. Different era definitely, but it wouldn't be even #1 in the "how the fuck did this happen" category.

yeah the WWE isn't as desperate these days as they were in 1996

The Elite are scheduled to appear on Collision tonight apparently.

That’s a choice.

I love it. It’s pro wrestling and “personal issues draw money”. Roll around in the mud, fam. Let’s get Tony Khan coming out to Iron Man, Hangman Page kicking off the show “for all the boys in the back” and blood baths that miss by 6 feet

I just listened to the Cornette/Tim Hornbaker story that included a recounting of the time that they almost put Ric Flair on a WWE PPV with Reid and I thought up an idea of the WWE saying "there's a former champion in the audience tonight" then cut to Punk, and then move the camera over to AJ Lee and introduce her to the audience.

That's the story Prichard told as well for Unforgiven in Greensboro.

That would have been tough to pull off cause WWF's whole thing was going back to the Diesel/Razor/Outsider thing, they had WCW by the balls because of a MINOR screwup. Why give WCW a legal advantage by putting Flair on WWF PPV at the time? It made no sense unless Flair was under contract.

then about 18 months later, they had Sable in the front row at a Nitro but that really didn't cause much of a ripple
