I don't know how much stock you put into them but both defensive win shares and defensive ratings were Giannis' and it wasn't really close.

Psst... It was a COVID-19 joke.

The Mavericks are a fun little story and all but they arent winning this series without Porzingis playing and playing well for that matter.

I mean I am glad that they are trying to take a stand and be serious about.  But the people who need to change this shit don't fucking care about this game.  Hell they didn't watch game 1 through 4.  If this game was in Milwaukee it would make a difference because it hits the pocket books

You can see their frustration and it just sucks

This is amazing. That we look to sports for political change is fucked up, but here we are and I'll take anything at this point.

I could see none of today's games being played in protest.

Great to see the players take a stand.

Yeah, I don't think we're seeing any basketball today.

E: Pretty sure that's a wrap:

Yup, all the games are postponed according to the NBA and will be rescheduled.

Does this end if the officers involved in Blake's shooting are arrested? Does the whole Association and NFL protest until broader changes are put in place?

Again a Brewers boycott tonight will have more juice even if their home game is no fans

As crazy as they probably are, it sounds like Dwight Howard and Kyrie Irving was right.

I don't know how this ends but it's pretty heartening in a time full of disheartening news.
