odessasteps Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 It sadly appears his Othello is not commercially available.
RIPPA Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 I am mentioning this here due to her work on Top Gear but Sabine Schmitz - the German racing driver - has died at the age of 51 due to cancer 2

Sabine Schmitz was great on Top Gear. Fuck cancer. R.I.P. Sabine Schmitz. My condolences to her family and friends xxx. 1
The Natural Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Man, I've always hated the "lost his/her battle with cancer" phrase. You only have so many lines on Twitter but I felt this was lacking.
The Natural Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Sorry for the triple post: R.I.P. Sabine Schmitz.
Zimbra Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 While Yaphet Kotto will always be Al Giardello to me he was also in the best segment to come out of TV Nation: 1
Cliff Hanger Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 The first two things I think of for George Segal are his excellent one-scene wonder in TO DIE FOR and Dr. Quest in the 1990s version of Jonny Quest. Neither of them is super important to his by then well-established career, and I've spent a hell of a lot more time with Just Shoot Me playing in the background than either of those. But those were where I just kind of stopped and went "oh, why isn't his voice in everything?" He was fantastic in VIRGINIA WOOLF, of course. My dad hated that movie more than any other he'd ever seen, mostly because he only went to see it because if it was attracting protests he thought it had to be exciting. I went in knowing what it was because I knew theater and loved it. It's funny, even though he'd been playing grandpas the entire 21st century, and even though I KNEW that WOOLF was over 50 years old, my first response was still "87? Really? I figured he was like 70"
odessasteps Posted March 25, 2021 Author Posted March 25, 2021 The first thing I always think of is Fun with Dick and Jane.
Zimbra Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Oh no, RIP Jessica Walter. Obviously she was brilliant in Arrested Development and Archer but she was also great in lesser stuff like PCU. 7
NikoBaltimore Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 (edited) I mainly knew her from Archer but man was she absolutely incredible in it. That really sucks. Edited March 25, 2021 by NikoBaltimore
Zimbra Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Today I learned that there was a low budget Dr Strange movie in 1978 and Jessica Walter played Morgan Le Fay 6
Curt McGirt Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 The evening news just said that she was Clint Eastwood's stalker in Play Misty for Me! Until opening this I had no idea she was Malory Archer, but it makes perfect sense. RIP

Curt McGirt Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 I LOVED Dinosaurs when I was a kid. And I would love to watch it again... if only it weren't on Disney+
