Just Dave
My Braves looking ok at ASB. Not great, need to get our starting outfield back, and BJ Upton has to quit being terrible, but EVAN GATTIS.

hammerva
Man I hope the curse of the Derby doesn't hit Bryce after this performance. He is giving his all like usual and crushing it. I feel sorry for his dad though. That arm has got to be killing him with all these taken pitches
Ryan
Half his pitches missed the plate by a mile anyway.

elizium
While this is becoming a bit of a Rivera love fest, those shots on the International feed of him holding court in the AL's dugout were cool as shit. Like he is the Sensai of the Mound....

pipGofern
Playing "Enter the Sandman" right after that horrid "Sweet Caroline" made it seem like the greatest run in ever. If only Joe Buck has 1/8 of the passion of Good Ol JR.

elizium
Decent game so far, not the most exciting, but some great individual performances. First time I've seen Jose Fernandez, that kid looks like he's going to be special. Rivera getting the field to himself when he came in was cool to see. Brian Fowler
Prince Fielder with the hefty triple! That was also fucking awesome. I mean, I don't think I've ever seen that before. And I'm a Tigers fan. AL WINS which matters now, or something something. God, that Rivera intro was great.
Rev Ray
I'm out of baseball for while but saw this on Comcast news: http://xfinity.comcast.net/blogs/popcast/2013/07/15/worst-celebrity-first-pitches-of-all-time/?cid=hero_media Bababoey hitting the ump makes me think of Crash telling Nuke to hit the mascot. elizium
I was all ready to turn on internet grump mode about Rivera winning (cuz do we really need to give him everything?), but then his family came out and then they gave him the mic and oh man, my tender heart. Stupid emotions, nice moment.

pipGofern
Continuing with the wrestling theme, I'm sure I wasn't the only one who noticed Adam Jones handing Cespedes a replica WWE belt after winning the Home Run Derby. Between Aaron Rodgers carrying around a title belt, the Heat wearing them last year and now this, I have to think sooner or later one of these sports leagues is going get sick of giving WWE free publicity and realize guys would rather have a blinged out belt than some goofy phallic baseball bat trophy. Just commission a Slam Dunk champion or Home Run Derby championship belt already. Trophies are so 2005.
