Justin877 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 We will trade you Mike London for Al Golden. I liked Al when he was an assistant at UVA. I am hoping the UVA that took UCLA tot he brink shows up instead of the one that got beat by Duke. Hoping UVA breaks the streak against Virginia Tech this week.
Brian Fowler Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Did either of them put a concussed QB back into an obviously lost game? 1

I live in Charlottesville so I hope VT knocks the piss out of UVa this week. I can't stand them. And yes, you can have Al Golden. That would ensure years and years of mediocrity and meaningless quotes for UVa and I'd be happy with that. As for UM, just give me some southern redneck who can recruit his ass off (Schnellenburger, Jimmy Johnson, Butch Davis) or a drunken midwestern offensive genius who looks the other way on everything (Erickson) for a coach and I'll be happy.
Hail Sabin Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Surprised they didn't put Jameis' head on Will Ferrell's body from The Campaign where he did actually punch a baby.

As a Canes fan in C'ville I feel sorry for you. Wahoo Wa Go Hoos Go!
EVA Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Marshall/WKU is 59-55 with 5:43 to play. This is the very best of the shitty CUSA.
EVA Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 And WKU ends Marshall's undefeated season, 67-66.
Pete Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 WKU score the TD in overtime, goes for 2 and gets it. 67-66 final, Marshall's unbeaten run is over. Wow.
The Man Known as Dan Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Gotta be honest, did not see Mizzou winning two SEC West titles in there first 3 years in the conference coming. At all.
Beech27 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Gotta be honest, did not see Mizzou winning two SEC West titles in there first 3 years in the conference coming. At all. Can't fault you for missing that guess, considering they play in the East. (Sorry, I had to.) 3
EVA Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 They had the good fortune of jumping into the SEC East when it was worse than it has EVER been, with Florida and Tennessee down, and Georgia good but horribly snakebitten by crucial injuries. They've also drawn really favorable matchups out of the West. For two years now, they've missed Alabama, LSU, and Auburn in the regular season, and this year they lucked out and skipped the two Mississippi schools during their great seasons. Right place, right time.

hammerva Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Is the importance of the Alabama game really that big in terms of the playoffs? Auburn would have to destroy them in order to justify Bama going from #1 to #5
EVA Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Not so sure about that. If Miss State loses today and therefore Bama can still go to the SEC championship game and win there...then, no, it doesn't really matter. Even 2-loss SEC champ Bama would probably sneak in at #4. But if Miss State and Bama goes home for the holidays after this, then I doubt they make it in. They might not immediately drop out of the top 4, but by the time the conference championships are wrapped up after next week, I think the committee will make a correction and put in one of the Big 12 teams or Ohio State, if one of them wins out. But there's still so much up in the air. Who's to say Arizona doesn't punch Oregon's card again?
Niners Fan in CT Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 One thing is for sure. Ohio St. pretty much has a bye week this week.
Randy Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Michigan had an awful start, but they are starting to get into the game. They forced a punt and are driving now. I'm taking a wait-and-see attitude.
Raziel Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 The fuck is going on in Columbus? I'm not complaining per se, but I'm scares that the result might give Home another chance.
BobbyWhioux Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 So how did Michigan end up with a #98 playing QB?
muhammedboehm Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 So how did Michigan end up with a #98 playing QB? Cause unlike NFL College has no rules on position and numbers
Niners Fan in CT Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Nice, I was totally expecting a blowout especially how it started but Michigan is playing alright.
Randy Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 So how did Michigan end up with a #98 playing QB? Gardner wears it in honor of Tom Harmon, who won the Heisman at Michigan.
Tabe Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 So how did Michigan end up with a #98 playing QB?Michigan has unretired all of their retired jersey numbers. They assign them to the top guy at any given position and then that guy wears a patch honoring the guy whose number he's wearing. This is different than the #1 jersey, which has been given to the top WR for over a decade in honor of Anthony Carter.
EVA Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Gardner started his downward spiral almost as soon as he started wearing 98. If I was him, I'd have been like, "Much respect to Mr. Harmon, but fuck this" a long time ago. 1
