When I watched that trailer earlier I was like "Damn right Gary Oldman should get to have sex scenes with impossibly beautiful people"

Yeah, I guess he never did get Winona Ryder in that film, did he. But he DID get Patricia Arquette! (But you didn't get to see it. Booooooo... Well then again seeing Drexl Spivey fuck would be pretty disconcerting.)

This looks like something that should be a limited series on Amazon Prime Video or so, not a full theatrical release. The existence of this movie has completely passed me by. Apparently, the original idea behind this was for WB not to lose the film rights for the LotR (though in the meantime, WB has signed a new deal for the LotR film license). There are even two live action films in development, with the first one titled The Hunt for Gollum, to be directed by Andy Serkis (I suppose focusing on Aragorn and Gandalf looking for Gollum in between The Hobbit and LotR).

So we're literally one Biolizard away from just being a film adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2, and I'm ok with that.

My son is begging to see this in 3D so I guess I'm doing that.

Yeah looks like both theaters in town shut it out. It's just too near the holiday season and all the bigger stuff has packed 'em. I have a shred of faith that it might get in at the IMAX in Savoy, hell a month or two ago we had a different movie for all 16 screens, but now we're down to like six flicks.

Hopefully this won't come off as anti-woke gibberish, but why is Helm Hammerhand's previously unnamed daughter the main character in this and not Helm Hammerhand himself?

I'm still jealous that his corrupt cop character got to bang Lena Olin's crazy Russian assassin babe character in Romeo Is Bleeding.  Handcuffed to a bed no less.

Not going to lie...Watching that 28 Years Later trailer, man, for the first time since I was kid being too scared of the ads for The Fly 2 on TV, I was kind of scared of a trailer. That's one of the best trailers I've ever seen. I hope the movie is just as good.
