You can't promote Twitter non-stop, run a billion wrestling documentaries on your network, show Vince and HHH shoot interviews ON YOUR NETWORK, give Punk the freedom to say whatever he wanted in 2011 etc etc etc.. and then expect the audience to act like it's 1992 when you want to push Reigns. It's on them. It's not the crowds fault.

Blaming the crowds is such a cop out. If the fans aren't doing what the WWE wants it's their own damn fault.

I want the Undertaker to beat Bray at Wrestlemania, get on his motorcycle, ride it back to the stage, stop, hold a fist in the air, soak it all in, and the continue riding to the back.

I think if they want to give people the room to like Reigns, but they don't want Bryan in the title picture, then give Bryan a compelling story of his own so people don't constantly mix up Roman's push with Bryan not getting to do something awesome they want to see. Give him something awesome to do! Christ, they kept Savage busy for years with stuff where he got to just be cool and exact vengeance and get cheered. Stop teasing people with Bryan's B+ show-the-world storyline and then pulling back at the last second and then expecting them to cheer whoever's left standing in that Daniel Bryan shaped spot. Separate them! Separate Bryan from the belt. Let him feud with someone awesome over something that he can make seem important, and then no one has any reason not to cheer the default babyface in the title feud.

Except for Antonio Inoki.

Let me take this moment to be a man and publicly apoligize to Gregg for the shit I've given him over the year plus. He was right, I was wrong. Wrestling is much more fun to watch when you sit back and ride along instead of getting constantly pissed off and indignant when things don't go your way. I'd like to thank the Bryan Zealots for helping me see Gregg's point, and since I've backed off being constantly pissed at the show, I've enjoyed it much more. This is 100% serious. A lot of you should lighten the fuck up.

As a fan, here's the best and only way to summarize the show: I don't give a fuck about Wrestlemania.

The only thing this thread has shown me is that Greggulator is a better cult leader than Bray Wyatt is.

IF ROMAN REIGNS SAYS "I'm better than Austin. I'm better than Shawn Michaels. I'm better than..." -- I get why the audience boos. That's an arrogant statement. Even if he's a confidence face, if you like Austin better, you'll be mad at that. But if the audience is booing for the reasons you say they are -- That members of the audience are watching a heel cut a promo on his client's opponent, and are sitting there and saying: "This isn't Heyman saying this. This is Vince McMahon trying to ram Roman Reigns down our throats! He thinks Roman is that good and he's not! He's not ready yet! He was carried in The Shield! BOOOO!!!!" If it's as you all say, then we're at the point where wrestling fandom is the worst. Literally the worst. How is that line of thinking even remotely fun when you go watch a live theatrical performance? We're now at a point where thousands of people go to an arena to make these meta critical judgments about something they are watching unfold. Would you do that for movies? How is that even remotely fun or productive for life in any manner whatsoever? WWE live audiences are now filled with Comic Book Guys. It's the worst. It's sad because you're right, wrestling fandom is easily in the worst place ever. Not a lot of people know how to be good fans anymore. They think they are being manipulated by Vince and are too smart to be worked, so they're trying to rebel against what they are expected to do. They go to shows to be contrarian and boo the faces and cheer the heels, and they don't even realize they aren't doing anyone any favors, it's not helping the performers, the other fans or the creative team, the waters just get muddied and everyone gets a mixed reaction nowadays with half and half support from the crowd. It's just more fun to go with the flow, get in touch with your inner child, and feed into the acts while suspending your disbelief instead of stomping your feet when things don't go one specific way, and trying to sabotage the shows. Cheer the people you're supposed to cheer, and boo the heels, it is more fun. And I still love good heels too, but it's just more fun to get into the act especially at a live show! The kids in the audience will thank you. MAJOR Props to Raziel as well for manning up and trying a new approach to watching and enjoying it. I applaud you, and wish more people would really hear your message. I'm out of likes, but I owe you one.

Jraq is a complete wrecking ball in this thread and I applaud him for it. It's really fucked when some people get upset at others for voicing their discontent with these shows. Raw isn't good. You could turn your brain off to the point where you're staring at the wall and drooling and doesn't make Raw better. It's still really shitty and the booking/writing is completely counterproductive. It's great some of you can do that, and better on you, but many of us want Vince and the writing staff to pull their head out of their ass and make this a watchable show and not something that is a chore or that you need to fast forward through.

All I know is I don't want the people that would have made Zack Ryder a top guy making that choice. I don't want people that think Cena can't wrestle when he has had a great career in ring making that choice. Those people are the Daniel Bryan fans.

Oh for the love of Christ. Yes, forget the WWE's terribly illogical writing - the live crowds are the real issue here. These last few posts read like what I'd imagine an internal WWE memo to sound like: "Don't worry guys, the problem isn't us. The problem is how the fans react to the show. Sincerely, Kevin Dunn."

Heyman's a disingenuous slimebag. He's trying to play a headgame with Reigns. "I think you can beat all of these guys but my client's the best. And you can't beat him." It's pretty easy to see that. Reigns was also giving him a good look of mistrust throughout it all. It's really not that hard to see that. Randy's playing a long con with Rollins, too. You don't see the RKO coming soon? Let it simmer for a week and then go for it. Make Rollins squirm before you do the inevitable.

Well I messed around and downloaded the new DLC so I should be good and updated. Now I have to re-learn how to drive, shoot, and fly aircraff. Jesus, I am going to fucking kill myself on this new sports bike. I generally enjoyed Raw again this week. I initially wanted to see the Ascension continue to get wins even though I'm not really fans of theirs, but a surprise win by the PTP was pretty cool, too. The tag division isn't really all that bad. R-Truth being in the IC hunt really came out of nowhere. Not sure how I feel about that, but I love that it makes the title seem that much more important. People want to be the champion instead of having a grievance with the guy who happens to have the title. I like that. Rusev and Lana are great. This is a different twist on the Cena beating the odds storyline that has played out so many times over the years. Rusev isn't stringing Cena along, he's not stacking the deck against him, he beat him and he's done with him. Sure, the end result may very well end up being the same, but it is a cool twist. I like Roman Reigns. He may not have been my first choice for the Main Event spot at WrestleMania, but I like that the WWE had a plan and are telling that story. There's no doubt in my mind that if Bryan had remained healthy last year we'd be exactly where we are right now anyway. This seems to me to be the first time in a long time that the WWE has actually built somebody new and wants to stick with him. This isn't "Cena is hurt, let's put somebody else in that spot" or "so and so is getting a good reaction, let's give him a try". This is somebody that they've had a plan for and stuck with for over a year. It makes me curious to see how long they will stick with him assuming he wins the title.

I feel like we're about to pan around the room and then the tense music will begin and it'll end with RIPPA reappearing like this: And then in big letters: I think everyone's more than ready to take a year of frustration out on each other.

I'd prefer if Vince and those evil writers just came up with stories that had a beginning, middle, and end and did that. And screw it. Marvel's not letting fans write their comic books. You mean stories like Brock defeats the streak, destroys all comers, gets dethroned at Wrestlemania by the young upstart Reigns? Reigns who was the muscle for the Hounds of Justice,a group so powerful they only were stopped by themselves. Reigns who was immediately in the title picture, beat cleanly a former WWE WHC at a main PPV, won the Rumble which he barely lost last year, fought the man who never lost the title to retain his shot at dethroning the Beast at Wrestlemania? The main event clearly has a story that was built up. The only blank spot is the brief time Reigns was injured and no one knew how to script promos for him.

Greg just said he wants there to be better writing. I want there to be better writing, Raziel, Burgundy, mco, FSW, We all want WWE to be the best because we all love wrestling. But we are going about this very differently, some of us are using constructive criticism and accentuating the positives and going with the story....and then there is what a lot of people here do HATE HATE HATE! It's bitchin and moaning constantly week after week with no real solution other than trying to ruin the enjoyment for the people who love WWE and convince us that everything sucks. If it sucks then leave, you are free to go find what you love. But if you're gonna be here with us every week, learn to love it and go with the con! Maybe follow your own advice and just let people react to the show how they want to? There's a segment of posters here who get more upset with people not liking the show, than the actual show itself being bad. That's so weird to me.

I went to the movies and got back to watch the last fifteen minutes of Raw, saw the Rollins/Orton-Bryan/Reigns match and thought "This ending's gonna be so fun"! I ran the gamut of where it was going -Orton's gonna turn on Rollins. It's the most obvious, but it's the best! -No, wait, the Authority's gonna interfere, beat down Reigns and Bryan, then Sheamus' music hits, but Sheamus attacks Bryan and sets up a WM match! That'll be such a good turn! -No, Bryan's gonna turn on Reigns and join the Authority! -No, Reigns is gonna turn and join the Authority! -Lesnar's gonna come up and beat up Reigns, leaving Bryan and Sheamus to battle the Authority! -Oh, Rollins just tagged himself in, he's gonna get RKOed -Oh, no, I guess not. -Oh, Bryan just tagged imself in, Daniel Bryan heel turn! No Reigns heel turn! -Oh, no, just over. -Orton's gonna take everyone out! -No, he's leaving politely....I bet he comes back! -Oh, no. But they're cutting to the announce team, obviously something big's going to happen! -Cut back to the Authority, here it comes! But, nothing happened. Literally nothing. I get the slow burn, but after a PPV with a largely disappointed audience, don't you have to do something?!?!?!

Paul Heyman is being obnoxious to Roman Reigns. I want to see Roman beat the hell out of Brock Lesnar to shove it in Heyman's face. That's the effect. This isn't calculus.
