MGFanJay Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Okay show, but nothing amazing. It dragged a lot and just felt like a night of either worthless rematches or filler. And Cena is facing Alberto at the Cell PPV to further shorten his career. HBK as the ref should either lead to a great visual with him raising Bryan's hand with the title, or him turning on Bryan and hopefully wrestling him at WM. I liked Bruno getting some time, although it's odd to have his first Raw appearance ever being on the app. Backlund's promo was amazing. The show-closing angle ruled - HHH took a glorious bump for Show's punch. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/10/raw-10-7-13.html Screens - Ring Angel time!
Raziel Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Odds that Vince rehired Show thus allowing him to do the run in and the KO?
DougN Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I feel like it has to be a swerve to get ADR over. Like he injures Cena more.
Brian Fowler Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Also, how pointless was that poll? They really never want a repeat of that Jericho thing ever again, do they? 1
Reed Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 RE: Cena. I figure at Hell in a Cell, WWE are just going to throw white paint on Darren Young and hope no one notices. 1
Overly Critical Man Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Blowing Cena's return in a non-sensical title match is what's best for business.
HumanChessgame Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I was hoping Pete Rose would be the guest ref, which would be the perfect opportunity for Kane to return and do a run in giving him a chokeslam once again.
Reggie20x6 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I hope everyone appreciates John Cena's dedication to destroying his body so that half the building can boo him. 2
Reed Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I hope everyone appreciates John Cena's dedication to destroying his body so that half the building can boo him. Cena needs to learn to say "No way! Are you crazy?" to WWE the same way he does to Nikki whenever she brings up the subject of marriage. 4
NintendoLogic Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I'm glad WWE succeeded in getting Show over as a huge babyface. That was the goal, wasn't it?
Brian Fowler Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 One of the goals, clearly. I can't have any problems with an angle that got Dustin Rhodes back on my tv.
Bear Wyatt Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I think Cena is part T-1000 and he can self-repair but only when ratings are down. 2
Reed Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Someone save John from himself/WWE. Cena will never be free of WWE. Even when he dies. Stephanie will just roll out the coffin and announce the corpse is getting a title shot at the next pay-per-view. 1

Niners Fan in CT Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 He's human. Sadly, I just don't think he'll be walking under his own power when he's 50. What is the point here? To pop a couple thousand extra buys?
MORELOCK Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Nice to see Finlay/Noble/Rotunda out there to break up the fight. I bet if the promos weren't so tightly scripted Booker wouldn't have said "more importantlier." What's the purpose of the Punk-Heyman feud? It's just Punk dominating everyone always, even fucking Brock. Don't know why they'd put Sandow out there and not let him talk. Something that consistently annoys me about Raw endings: Where the hell did Cody and Dustin GO? Show's taking a 3-on-1 beating and they're like "see ya man?" Bryan showing up to pose at the end made even less sense, because where was he the whole time Show was getting beaten up?

just drew Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 The same place that prick Show was while Bryan was getting his ass handed to him?
piranesi Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Best thing of the night is that I really think that Backlund believed he was going to win that poll. And this line: HBK: "But really, enough about me. I want you to vote for me."

To pop a couple thousand extra buys? I think the current state of Hulk Hogan is probably foreshadowing for how Cena will end up one day. Maybe even worse, since Hogan never took anything close to the crazy bumps Cena has.
Victator Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Did Cena turn up on TV? Might be some sorta swerve.
