The Natural Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas taken to hospital after suffering heart problems. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48125061 Hope Casillas will be okay.
Guest Edwin Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Virgil is supposedly the best CB in the world and he's caught ball watching Suárez. Seriously, these PL pundits don't watch football outside their PL bubble.

Just a single mistake/bad play? Did you watch the game? He got toyed with all game and was a big part with why Liverpool lost. He was a statue during the first two goal. I know folks have bad games, but that was an atrocious performance. Seriously. And to think folks were comparing him to prime Maldini... Edited May 1, 2019 by Edwin

Guest Edwin Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 (edited) A lot of Liverpool fans... Edit: There's more football discussion than the 10 of us on here and there's a lot of people outside of this board who talked him up as such which is why I mentioned it. Edited May 1, 2019 by Edwin
ChesterCopperpot Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 So no-one who's opinion is worth anything - gotcha 1
Guest Edwin Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Ah, yes, we have experts in all fields on this board. Forgot about that. Anyway... I AM STOKED!
AxB Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 Dear Cardiff fans, Enjoy your visit to Swansea City next season. No Welsh teams in the English Premiership. Balance is restored.
Jiji Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 My heart. Origi, for a player that isn't all that, you know, good, has a supreme knack for the dramatics and he'll always have a special place in Liverpool supporters' hearts. I hope Salah is okay.
cubbymark Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 Belated congratulations are in order to Leyton Orient who will be back in the EFL next season. The ownership fiasco with Francesco Becchetti was quite the shit show and dragged them down into the National Conference, as chronicled by Copa90. 1

Meanwhile, Notts County have been completely relegated out of the EFL for the first time ever, ending their 131-year run as the longest-tenured club. That distinction now falls to their neighbors across the River Trent, Forest.

Villa and West Brom will contest the other half of the playoffs.
odessasteps Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Poor Bielsa. Powerless to stop them booking BBJT vs Frank in the final.
Guest Edwin Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Godín is holding a press conference tomorrow. Its been rumored he couldn't reach an agreement with the club and this would be his last season and it seems like tomorrow's conference is his farewell announcement. He is rumored with a move to Inter already which is a great signing regardless of age. They can easily get another great season from him. A club icon who will be missed and one of the most underrated CB's ever and one of the best CB's of the decade.
Guest Edwin Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 So its official... He's leaving. A true club icon of our generation. Griezmann's reaction is how we fell rn:
AxB Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 Salah and Firmino both out tonight. Barring a miracle, Liverpool are on course for the best nothing season ever. So with Chelsea being 4th, if they beat Arsenal in the Europa league final (assuming both hold their semi-final leads), does that put Arsenal into the CL the same way winning Europa would?
odessasteps Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 No. I think the only variable right now is Watford gets in the Europa League if they win the FA Cup.
